I just discovered a whole world of purple plants myself. So many varieties to choose from. Just not something you typically see unless you look if you know what I mean.
Possibly still lose a little weight during curing but she came in just under 3 1/2 ounces of good buds and about another ounce of larfy buds and trim.
I am now all setup for what looks to be another bushy indica. I have been able to grow a very even canopy that I will continue to spread out further than the last as I have the space with just one plant.
I do have one issue... The bottom fan leaves are huge and even much of the new growth develops substantial fan leaves quickly. This is always my dilemma as I start to find moisture building between leaves that touch sometimes. At this point I feel kinda forced to clip a couple of these leaves strictly for air flow.
other than that I am now using about 80% nutrient strength as I was seeing signs of what looked to be overfeeding as mentioned. Things appear to be improving but I know it will take awhile to show.
OG is coming along... I believe I have fixed an overfeeding issue and it looks like we are now flowering finally.
Noticed some pistils starting Sunday morning and started transitioning to bloom nutes while still only running 60% strength. At 80 percent we were still seeing signs of nuts burn and overfeeding so giving her a few days and then slowly turning up the bloom nutes.
As to the LST, I am working on that even canopy with this one and since she is on her own we can spread her out. Definitely liking this style of LST and the choice to top at the 3rd node. Working well together so far...
