Bloom Plus 1000 (BP1000) LED Grow Light

2 Sour Kush Autoflower growers choice seeds

Look at that light leak from the zipper... holy cow. very little light leaks in but there is a hell of a lot of light leaking out through the zipper.
I do plan on getting rid of the current fan and getting a clip fan or two.

@nopixel :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome:. Is there a question here? Some observations based on your pictures. It is too humid and too hot in your cups as indicated by the excessive condensation. Your seedlings will be subject to damping off if they are in that environment for any length of time when they sprout. It looks like you may be watering your pots wrong. Tap roots can grow 9 inches in three days and the lateral roots are only a couple of days behind. If the roots hit dry soil they will not grow there and this will stunt your roots at the most important time in their growth. What you need to learn about watering will come with practice. Here are the basic rules: Never let the soil dry out. Soil and or coco can become hydrophobic if allowed to dry. This means it repels water. This in turn will create dry pockets in the soil and roots there will die. If your soil - coco have accidentally dried out use a surfactant to help re-wet it. I like yucca powder. Don't let soil remain soggy by watering too much too often. Root rot, damping off, molds, fungus gnats and other problems start in soggy soil. When you do water water the entire pot. How to learn when to water starts before you plant the seed. Fill your container with fresh soil/coco and weigh it (heft it) this is the lightest weight and consider it a dry pot. Now slowly water until the soil/coco will no longer absorb the water and run-off begins; weigh the pot (heft it) this is the maximum water, the wettest the pot can get. The difference between wettest and driest is the maximum water weight, for ease of explanation lets just say the water weighs 20 pounds. When the pot loses 10 pounds (half of the water weight) it is time to water again. There is an art to watering.

Back to the humidity domes, put some more holes in them for air flow. Remove them as soon as the seedlings are up. It is important to be able to control the RH relative humidity in the whole tent when plants are very young 70% is good but after a week or so lower it to 60%. Then the range for the life of the plant is >40%<60%. The best temperature for germination is 80°F lights 24/0 and then as soon as they are up lower a little to 78°F. When the plants get their first set of true leaves (sawtooth edges) change the light schedule to 18/6 with night temps 68°F.

The light leaks in your tent are irrelevant with autos but might be concerning when growing photos.

:goodluck:

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
I really appreciate your input and will try to put it to use.

on the left is a Blueberry Kush and on the right is (same age) Sour Kush auto from Growers Choice Seeds...
She's obviously tiny and probably stunted... kind of bums me out because I can't really afford seeds right now and really wanted this to work :(
only 2 of the 5 Sour Kush I got from GCS germinated and one of them was tiny... I'm so unlucky..

Is it normal to have branches coming out below the cotyledons? She just wants to grow grow grow wherever she can I guess.
