Thanks. I did run into a bit of an issue with some lockout when my ppm started creeping up. Since it's my first run with the CS nutes I'm not surprised something came up. I'm running lower than I was with H&G and it was still too much. I had to remove about 15 gallons of solution and replace it with RO. As of this morning they were back to feeding hard again.

Brother Muddy, it's great to see you in action again! And rolling phat with this fine grow room and RDWC system- 
I really dig the side lighting and set up for it; what bulbs and color spec' are they?... Mmmm, Blue Dream, still a favorite of mine, and still popular here in CA, despite all the overblown, over bred, overcrossed pop culture strains! I swear, everybody and their damn grandmother has an OG named for them-
- and Gorilla Glue and Girl Scout Cookies crosses are not far behind,...
.... BTW, how did you like the Chemdogging? I'm blown away you got 5oz off one under 12/12! Another Mephisto to try that gets big, branchy and potent is Hubbabubbasmelloscope (HBSS),.. in fact my friend, several of breeders are now offering XL/XXL auto variants of classic strains to meet the demands for larger harvests, have you checked them out yet? Dinafem, Sweet, DP,... And have you looked into Sweets F1FV variants? I've run a few of them, Green Poison (my fav' Sweet) a few times now, and every one was done blooming, outside, in under 5 weeks!

Wooow, Muddy I want to move into that room! ..just curl right up against the pots,.. beautiful grow of what promises to be fantastic bud quality,...buds are looking more dense than usual for BD too! The aroma is going to be epic soon- 
..can't wait to see the Sea of cola tops all glistening and juicy! .... I've not had the chance yet to run a hydro grow, but when I do, I know who's door to knock on,...
only one thing left to do this visit-- besides wipe the drool off your floor

Hey Waira, good to see you bud. And thanks for the kind words. Those side lights are T5 HOs, 2700k, 54 watts each for a total of 432 watts. I've run the gpw numbers of having them versus not. I figure they are giving me an additional 3 oz. per grow, well worth the cost of the extra electric. Coupled with these Kind XL1000s it's a killer setup. So far my best harvest has been 52 oz. My ultimate goal is 64. If I can hit that I'll be getting just over 1 gram per watt. I think it's doable.
Blue Dream is real popular around here as well. In fact, there's a lot of CA weed being imported here so everyone wants those strains. I just got a little sample the other day of some Key Lime. Adding that to my 'to grow' list as well. Mostly I've been growing strains from Humboldt Seed and Emerald Triangle. They seem to have the best selection of CA strains. I also want to get some Bio Diesel but it's not sold outside of CO. I'm seeing a friend who lives there in a couple weeks. Hoping he can help me out on those. I lost a little weight on this run of BD after changing nutes for this run. Got hit with a little P deficiency at the worst possible time. Bud the buds are still big and hard. Should be ready to harvest in another 12 days or so.
I only threw those Chemdogging in to fill the system after I got poor germination on the Ice seeds I had started. The buds were kind of loose under 12/12 and I can't justify running autos in there under 18/6. So I'll be staying with photos. I'm back to growing some autos in my outdoor box. For there I prefer the dwarf auto strains. Plus I grow them in 2 gallon pots to keep the size down. I'd rather have the variety of growing 6 small plants as opposed to growing 2-3 bigger ones. While the Chemdogging is pretty good I actually like the Chem City Blues better. I know they are similar but the CCB has that little something extra. In fact, I've got another CCB started. I shared some with Jackal and he really enjoyed it, so I'll probably share some of this with him as well.
Hydro has been a real learning experience and a bit harder than I had anticipated. But I'm pretty confident with it now after getting a half dozen grows under my belt. Now I can say that I've grown in just about every way possible. Autos and photos in soil, indoors and out, and now hydro.

Past time for an update. This grow is getting near the end. The buds are fox tailing a bit as they put in their final growth spurt. They are by far the frostiest buds I've had in this system and I have to credit the Cultured Systems nutes for that. I did a grow of Blue Dream with House & Garden and the difference is very apparent. The buds are bigger, and tric coverage is probably 30 - 40% more. I pinched a green sample on Monday and was very pleased. With a good cure this is going to be super. The plants should be ready to harvest by next Wed. or so but I'm going to be away. So I'm going to change the system on Saturday and let them flush while I'm gone.

I'm back but picked up a bad chest cold plus had to harvest the BD. It made for a long, tiring week. But everything is dried or still drying, so the hard part is done. I did get a few more pics before I harvested. I'll try and get them up in the next day or so. This is by far the stickiest grow I've had in rdwc. I ended up with 12 nice balls of finger hash. It's crazy potent. 3-4 hits and I sat down at the kitchen table and zoned out for 10 minutes.
