Just saw that my T5 had 2 blown bulbs, could be the lower temps working against me.
Going to give it another shot on a seedling heat mat I have

mom I'm sorry your feeling your losing your way if I can suggest something for you to try I very rarely don't get a baby this way https://www.autoflower.org/threads/germination-the-ronin-way.33891/ I absolutely swear by this with root riots no soaking seeds directly in a small Tupperware on any device that's as heat I use an iptv box I also thing ronins tutorial should be stickied its that reliable

Well, Well, Well....You just never know.

Yesterday I got the (2) T5 replacement bulbs and added them to the light. This raised the tent temp up to 82. Weeee!
I could have sworn I saw "something" trying to poke out of the riot, but I was not sure. This seed was soaked for 24 hours,
and had been in her riot for 5 days~ I thought for SURE she was a dud. But, I decided to give it a chance. So I dunk
watered the cup in some MC and put a ziplock bag over the cup for extra humidity. A little MC, temps up, humidity up~
and look what I woke up to 14 hours later! BAM!! She was no dud...she was waiting for Mommy to get her sh*t together!!

Hi hon!! I was messing around with root riots, and no root riots, trying to figure out what the issue was.
I love Ronins method, so easy for the first week or so until true leaves....yes!!!!

The girl that did survive was the one that was in the root riot. Dont ask me how she did, but...she did.

Little lady is growing slowly day by day. I took her out of the tent today and dunk fed her. Just going to make sure temps stay up, and dunk feed her every day...she has a lot of will to live, sweet little thing!!

My new PH pen made me wonder. So, I got some GH 7.0 PH calibration fluid.
Stupid pen reads 6.5. Then 5.8. And, its not adjustable. WTH?
Has no adjustment screw...auto calibrating my butt!

Anyone recommend a reliable pen that is not off the charts expensive?

Calibrates well, has a screw for adjustment on the back, needs storage solution, needs break in time. I've had mine over a year and it's always been darn close if not consistently spot on in cal fluids. The first month or two it drifted a bit. Once a week calibration needed until it settles down.

EDIT: It's not as fancy as blue labs or apera. It also needs a bit longer to read steady. So let it sit for a minute. Other than that I've been very happy.

that is exactly what I was looking for! I cant find pens with the adjustment screw anymore. They are all "auto calibrate".
Auto Calibrate my a*s!!

I have my cotton balls, storage solution, and 7.0 reference solution already here at the house. I ordered the pen off Amazon, and they say it should be here Monday.

I have been going over @Mañ'O'Green's MegaCrop ppm chart a lot, investigating, doing some testing, and have found a sweet spot for my version of MC.

MOG has done so much work and research and I would just like to thank him for his time and effort. He is a sweetie, and doesn't even seem to mind helping me with 5,000 questions. XOXOXO


So...what I have decided to do is: Mix up the same nutes every time this grow (hitting the nutrient/ppm sweet spot) and just diluting it with distilled water to bring the ppm down for the different stages of my plants life.

So...I mixed up a gallon of distilled water, 4g/G Mega Crop and 1g/G NPK Ind. RAW B-vitamin (for Mg and Sulfur).
No extra cal mag is needed at this MC dose. I ph'd to 5.9, and the ppm came out at 600.

As the baby's cup was a little light this morning, it was time to dunk feed. I poured a little of the above mixture into a beaker, and then added distilled water until the ppm got down to 300. I dunk fed her for a few seconds to get her weight back up, and put her back in tent. She is about 3-4" under the 96w T5 light. She was really stretching, so I brought it down from about 5".

She seems to be doing awesome...fingers crossed!!
