Well hi there!!

Yes, just wanting to get this grow over and start new babies. Isnt that awful!?
Yes, yours do look like mine (brown spots, yellowing, just like mine!)....are you using mc2 and cobs? wow, you sure have a tall one there. soon hon, hang in there!

I am using MC2 and started the grow with one of those cheap Roleadro Cob lights. This white widow just didn’t want to stop growing and so I bought an HLG 135W QB288 quantum board which has a low profile for me to put it close to the top and have more clearance.
I’m pretty sure the light intensity started a lot of the problems and magnified the deficiencies. I’ll have to either do more LST or buy a taller tent in the future.

I refilled res with just 4g megacrop per gallon and ph'd to 6.0.

Pulled out my trusty little hand microscope and checked trichomes just for the heck of it.
bud was very sticky and smelly. And.....We seem to have a little amber!


I wish I had a microscope camera, but moms budget wont allow it right now.

I will check again in about 4 days and see where they are at. I like to harvest a little early as my daughter doesn't like that "couch lock" effect.

Is this the cheep light your talking about? I'm using these and i'm having leave trouble. The directions didn't say nothing!

Those lights are actually quite powerful. The 400w Roleadro is a copy of the light I have, and that sucker only comes out in flower. I can't get it high enough in a 6ft 6in tent bro! All the way up and still gives out too many lumens for veg phase. In the end, I put a cheap dimmer on it and that works better.

Thank you so much! I might be better off starting with my Platinum- P-300, then switching to my Roleadro at the end of the grow. I've got 4 cob's on, had them all on the entire grow, it has two switches, is two cob's enough for one plant? I don't have one of those fancy light meters. OH-MY , not my thread, but thanks.

Sorry @MassMom , just trying to find out about that Roleadro. I will start following your grow now that i'm aware of it! I want to see those Auto- cobs in action.

Here is the light that I have. I haven't had a perfectly healthy plant from start to finish under it, I've always had Ca-Mag or other deficiencies pop up in late Veg to early flower. I thought that it was more due to my inexperience of growing than the light itself but it's entirely possible that some part of the spectrum is not agreeing with them.

This is interesting to hear as well. I have a short tent at 4.5 ft, so the light is always at the top. Works pretty well in the Veg stage but as soon as it starts to grow up into late veg-early bloom is where I see issues. But that could be a function of getting too close as well.

I have the HLG QB288 135W now and will do my next grow with that and see how it compares. I have also ordered some Citizen COBs online and will be replacing the Roleadro Cobs when they come in. But I may just have to bite the bullet and buy a taller tent...and might as well go bigger while i'm at it

Go to Home Depot and buy a cheap, dimmer/potentiometer, just ask for one that works with led cob lighting add those guys there will help you. Cheaper than a new tent!
