the water in res is clear. water in tray for the last week has been brown. i think maybe root control disk is issue...what do i do now, they are at the bottom...sigh. i top watered a little while ago, and will let them dry out before i try anything i guess.
the water in tray can be darker than water in res. The water picks up discoloration from your soil. that is natural. The second pic of your post looks like it is wet and not bone dry. When you lift up the pot did it seem heavy and wet?

If they were very light then they are not "wicking" this is not error of auto pot but perhaps the soil you are using. Pop22 will need to answer from here. You did not do any thing wrong. Growing is like raising kids. some shit always seems to just happen, then we deal with it
I undid the autopot tubes and hand watered each lady with 1liter of water and a little micro bloom. I will wait again a few days or such until pots are light again and give autopots another try. I just cant figure out what happened...
