Tried supercropping first time didnt pinch sides enough and the top bud snapped completely off oh well tried it on the next one and it worked correct a lesson to be learnt i guess!.

Will the plant still be ok? im sure it will take a massive loss correct? about 5 weeks old

A couple of years ago one of my goats nipped the tops off a couple plants that were about that age. They ended up splitting into two colas instead of one and did well. Just set them back about a week till they recovered. You should be okay.

REALLY?! would love to see it split would be great muddy you have given me hope! hopefully true hope not false hope hehe ! :D thankyou

Yep, really. At the time there was a lot of discussion on whether to top autos or not. So it ended up being an experiment in topping. The colas were smaller and the yield was about the same as the plants that weren't topped.

Did the goats like the pot? Do they bother your other plants?

For sure they liked it. Year before one stuck her head through the garden fence and ate the whole side off of one. Yes, they bother everything. Shrubs, evergreens, you name it. I had one figure out how to get through the electric fence and she taught the others. Sold them all 2 years ago but am going to get some more this spring. Just need to redesign my fence a little first. They are as bad as deer when it comes to eating weed.

At least the deer stay away when you put dog poop around the plant. I haven't had a plant munched for over 5 years now. The last time I had a few sheep they left the pot alone as they seem to eat the grass. I guess the goats are way more shrub eaters than the sheep. Do you have coyotes your way?

Oh yes, lots of coyotes. My dogs keep them away, especially my two Pyrenees. Every time they hear them they put up a howl.

I had trouble with goats dont know how they got in to my attic though

Lukas, keep us informed as to how it works out.

I used to have a labrador that was the most agressive lab in the universe. She even bit a cop. She hated the coyotes with a passion. when they would start to howel she would lose her mind and beg me to let her go after them. Evey now and then when they got close I would let her loose. You never heard such a coyote commotion in all your like there was yipping and crying and the woods would come alive with noise. She always came back wicked happy she just loved putting the run on them.

Pyranees are a lot more aggresive than they seem when you look at them. I never had one but I hear they are really good gaurd dogs. No wonder you don't worry much about thieves.
