Just a thought, can you leave your rh meter outside the tent so you get an ambient reading?
Are you watering to run off? I water my girls in the bath, leave them 30 minutes so if there is any runoff it's not sitting in the tent. Although now I'm growing organically I try not to get any runoff at all.
Lastly, I water on alternate days so there's less moist soil sitting in my tent, if that makes sense.

Humidity Problems

Day 52


Jeez, never try and sort/post photo's when you are stoned! Anyway, in no particular order here are a few from the tent this afternoon!







I am somewhat dissapointed in the growth of the girls over the last week! Usually at this stage in previous grows they have started bulking up. No obvious signs of that happening at the moment (?). As to why, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with my humidity levels which are much higher than I would expect at this stage in the grow, due in part to my faulty central heating! Half the house is cool and the other is normal due to some radiators working and others not!! When I open the door to the grow tent, I am sure that cooler more humid air is entering the room and maybe causing problems? I would call in the central heating guy but, in the latter stages of the grow I'm reluctant. (security wise!)


To this end, I have flushed them again and will restart the flowering nutes schedule tomorrow with added Fish-Mix at the rate of:

2ml FM
3ml BG
4ml BH
4ml BB
3ml TM

Per litre of water. (Bio-Bizz users will know the score!)

I am also going to buy a small dehumidefier unit to try and keep RH levels down. Wether it should be a tent unit or a room unit, I am undecided apon at the moment, any suggestions?

Now then lad. I struggled with high RH on my last grow, I bought a dehumidifier (for inside the tent) off ebay it was this model http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GOLD-TEC-...arden_Hearing_Cooling_Air&hash=item566d1490a0

I also added another air movement fan and bought a better extractor fan so my air exchange inside the tent increased. Really made a difference!

Hi All,

Day 55

Hopefully, the girls have recovered from another flush and restarting of bloom feeding? Temps are stable at 20-26c and RH is back to a max of 50% after watering/feeding. I have a feeling they may well take a little longer to bulk up (maybe another month?) which ain't really a problem? As they say, 'All good things come to those who wait!'
