Day 68

She seems to be really chucking it out now. Producing some really great looking big ol' colas even if I do say so myself.

I can't stress how much I'm enjoying this girl. My favourite strain to date. Just hoping the smoke lives up to it.

A couple of clear mains have formed, but to be honest, all the side branches are pretty huge too. I didn't take any shots to give scale but the colas are huge and really dense, great calyx to leaf ratio and they feel rock solid on the plant.

I've overdone it a touch with the nutes, you can see some of the sugar leaves have gone yellow but I'm not too concerned.

Still smells very woodsy with a sweetness that I can't put my finger on, but all in all it's a very hazey kinda smell. I don't wanna jinx it, but I reckon she's my best yet.

It could all go to shit though, I have to go to Japan for two weeks on the 18th and I don't think she'll be ready by then, so I can hook her up to an autopot and a friend can come and top it up once or twice or I can harvest early. Not sure how to play it but hopefully I should have a better idea by the time Sunday rolls around.

she looks amazing mate! the difference in photo quality is night and day, really shows her off well!
buds look thick and greasy i'm not so sure she'll be that far off come the 18th mate (also JAPAN?! ) at the very least you could call it a day on the 17th and let someone takeover flush duties? how're the trichs looking so far?

Thanks dude, trichs are a mix but mostly cloudy, as you say, i think she'll probably done with the feed by then, but I'm away for two weeks, seems like a long time to flush an auto to me. If she's very amber by the time I return on the 3rd of March, it's not the worst as she's full on sativa, so might benefit from a little extra amber to balance things out. In theory i could leave to flush for a week and then just let my buddy come round and do a full plant hang for a week. Maybe that would be the best idea actually... assuming he's up for it. He has a pregnant wife at the moment so I don't wanna ask too much of him. Bit of a pickle!

And Japan, I know! Dream come true. Gotta work out there for a few days then taking the rest as holiday. A week in Tokyo then off to the countryside, Kyoto, back to Tokyo and home to a fresh harvest )))) Apparently weed isn't very easy to come by in Tokyo, that's the only downside lol.

I'm beginning to make a list of things to up my game a bit on the next grow.

I'm gonna be dropping around £500 on a Grow Northern Telos 10 which makes me think I should probably do away with my almost non existent PH monitoring. Is it worth spending on bit on a digital meter? Are the ones for like £60 really better than the ones for £15? Should I bother getting a high quality temp/RH meter?

Also gonna be buying full line up AN nutes, just to see what all the fuss is about (I'm skeptical)

Let me know what y'all reckon.

that's one heckuva light matey! sound investment i reckon!
i'm still on the lookout for a decent ph probe - the popular one here is the Accurate PH 8 but getting one in the UK seems a bit tough - just as good for coco too. Apera PH20 looks good for fluids but £60
