New Grower Mephisto Strawberry Nuggets, 4 Assed Monkey & Fantasmo Express x Sour Stomper

BTW I'll do proper reviews of these once they're all cured but just a quick note of recommendation on the Strawberry Nuggets.

The purple one has left a little to be desired, i'll see how cures but maybe make some hash from her.

The green one however is an entirely different story. I smoked my first bowl yesterday and boooooooy o boy is that some strong weed. Totally lays you out in the best way possible. Definitely not one to smoke too early in the day though. Some seriously heavy duty smoke that leaves you immobile but still with a lot of creative thinking and interesting thoughts whizzing. Pain is totally knocked out.

Also, I say I smoked a bowl, I actually had one hit! Granted it was probably a rather large one, but never the less, I'm super impressed and would definitely recommend trying it.

Hoping the flavour improves in the cure as it's not really my jam at the moment.

Everything's tightly trimmed and in for the cure now.

FxS is going strong. Will update with pics later on.

4AM has given the sweetest smelling, smoothest smoking, most potent and heaviest yielding of the lot with a respectable 119.17g (4.2oz)
The green SN is at 108.24g (3.8oz)
Last (and least) is the purple SN at 88.23g (3.1oz)

Over 11oz on across the three smallest plants I've ever grown, not bad! Obviously the purple would have been heavier if it's main colas hadn't been lost to rot but I've got no complaints. Clearly got enough left to last some time.

Purple's not as strong as I'd like it to be, but it's fine. It's a great high, just gotta smoke a little more than usual. Buds are very dense though.

4AM is my absolute favourite but it's a bit racy right now, i think a cure will mellow it out as happened with the Tangie. Seems to be more needed with anything over around 40% sativa. She's given out some very pretty buds, nice and dense and honestly the smell is fantastic.

Boveda's havent turned up yet so they're all in Kilner jars as they are now getting burped daily. The moisture levels seem pretty perfect on them but i don't have anything to measure it with. I'll order some of the little LED wotsits this week after payday.

i missed this until late last night at which point i wasn't at my most coherent

wow - those numbers!
i didn't weigh because laziness most likely but i estimate my round of 3 yielded 5 ounces...maybe 6. probably not 6.

over 4 on the monkey alone! :clapper::clapper::clapper::clapper:

i'm not surprised the 4AM is your favourite - i've seen her raved about quite a lot but i don't see that many being grown out here. i imagine a very indica pheno like you grew would be super stanky. did any strong pine come through from the Gorilla Glue heritage? really craving some of that myself lately - a good piney glue

these results make me even more confident going in to coco. a yield like that would keep heavy tokers like me and my missus in smoke for several months! and you've still got that wonderful train stomper to go - and what a plant she is!! classic structure in the best possible way - i love trained plants but i'll never stop appreciating a proper tree like that.

she's gonna drop you at least the same as the 4AM so you're gonna be rolling in 15 zips of Mephisto flower.
enough to make me green! :goauto: and make me feel a bit amateur

DAY 54

I totally neglected the FxS for a few days and she's not too bothered.

Got caught up in the harvest excitement and forgot to feed her when I should have. TBH her whole life has been a bit of an afterthought, but that just proves what an easy strain she is to grow. No complaints at all, not a peep out of her for weeks now.

She looks pretty much perfect to me. Very nice size, nice structure and just looks like a classic cannabis plant. Very sativa in leaves, stature and bud development.

Not the frostiest, but decent. Not the smelliest, but quite nice and totally different to anything I've grown before. Smells like rubber and pencil shavings to me. I'd like that get a bit sweeter to suit my tastes but I've got no complaints whatsover.

Buds feel very dense but tall, thinner sativa spears. Lots of them though and that's the main thing. I reckon she'll go quite a while, so plenty of time to fatten up.

I could look at her all day, really happy with her. Due to travel plans, she'll get chopped in just under a month so I'm crossing my fingers that it's enough time.

Could be a nice smoke and one I probably wouldn't choose to grow usually. Looking forward to adding her to the collection.

oh snap this had me grinning like a idiot last night

pencil sharpenings! never heard that as a description of aroma but what a flashback that gave - brilliant
Fantasmo is supposedly quite floral and is a bit of a marmite flavour
Stomper i would think is generally sweet and sour, and i've seen reports of it being very artificial grape (one of my absolute favourite things - why i don't grow this i don't know)

but like i say this is one pretty lady - don't forget about her!

i bet the cure will sort that purple strawb' out mate. it pains me to say my CDLC does get better by the day, almost as fast as i empty the jars :haha: as more time passes she is developing a stronger stardawg scent, it's lovely. are either of your strawbs rather kushy? any actual strawberries in there so far?

The FxS is a weird one with regard to smell. Not much like either of her parents from what i can tell. Not even a hint of sweetness but it's early days, that could change. It's still quite nice, just not what I'd expected. It basically smells like a pencil case.

The SN had a bit of a strawberry like smell towards the end whilst growing which seems to have disappeared now she's dry, hoping it will reappear during the cure, but yes very kushy, piney kind of smell but still very green at the moment. I'm not complaining, it's fine, i would just love it to match the description... Hopefully!

Not much pine on the 4AM, it's all tropical sweets and poop!

Thanks for the kind words on the yield, nothing to do with me, it's all strong lights and good genetics!

Can't wait to see some pics of the mutant FxS!

Well I hope you get those aromas coming from them jars soon bro! After 18 days the critical cheese lost all its green and became full on hazey/cheesy so I'm sure you'll get something back!

I sure hope so!
Quietly confident that some of the terps will begin to come through again... cross your fingers for me!

Posted some pics of her yesterday, she's coming along strong. Probably not gonna be a knock out yield but a really fun plant to grow and as long as I have 2oz off each plant I'm happy.

DAY 56

FxS is really starting to stack now and putting on a bit of weight. Now that I've remembered she's in the tent, she's thanking me for it.

She's hungry and seems to be taking everything I chuck at her which makes me think it might be worth adding some Canna PK13/14. I'd estimate another 14-20 days for her to finish. Might have missed the window. Let me know what you guys reckon? Seems to have a good clayx to leaf ratio but more wouldn't hurt!

Little lower beginning to show orange pistils

Frost has increased and the odour has both doubled and got sweeter. Definitely showing her haze heritage in the smell now along with a fruity sweetness, not quite grape but something fruity. By looks and smell I'd say she was leaning more towards the Fantasmo Express side of things but with a touch of sweetness from the Sour Stomper.

Not really my usual kind of smoke as I tend to think I dislike Haze strains, but I'm definitely looking forward to twisting one up and hopefully getting proven wrong!

Trichomes are already looking milky and very abundant but she looks a way off still.

She's been an absolute delight to grow, just a really fun and rewarding strain to watch. Really happy I have another bean left!

:bighug:

Some lovely work there mate, you certainly have some green fingers :growing:well worth the sub.

I was obsessed with Purple strains for a while, most recent being dark devil and devils cream. The strange thing I found with most of them is the smell when dry compared with the smell once cured was night and day. Most would smell or taste kind of piney or earthy and then after a couple weeks of curing would become extremely fruity, hopefully that will be the case here.
