DAY 80
HARVEST DAY!
Both SNs and the 4AM came down today. I would actually have liked to see a few more ambers but they were telling me they needed to come down. Lots of the leaves were yellowing off and dying and the trichomes do look totally fine and where I'd normally chop them, just faniced going a touch longer on these. Not to worry. I'm happy with the result.
This is the Purple SN, remember she lost her main cola... she's still chucked out a decent yield I think. Reasonably dense buds and smell fantastic. They're a very bright purple so I'm hoping they don't dry too brown.
After a light standing trim:
4AM
I'm looking forward to growing this again. The smell is excellent. Seems to vary a lot but I'm getting a very similar profile to Zkittles (really like a bag of Skittles) and manure. Sounds disgusting but it's excellent. Very sticky, greasy buds and are rock hard already. The densest buds I've ever grown with what looks to be a very decent yield.
Lastly we have the green SN which has actually been hiding quite a few pink calyxs in there too. I reckon she'll look pretty great when she's dry.
A slightly sweeter old skool more berry like smell than the purple one which is slightly more woodsy and earthy.
Letting them all hang dry on some bamboo rods in the growing room but outside the tent. The exhaust fan is poiting at them so keeping a bit of air circulating and I have another floor fan in the room too. I'd expect a 6-7 day dry time followed by a pretty much final trim, then into paper bags for a day or so before finally getting a polishing trim and then jarred up for a cure.
I have pretty high hopes for these. Smell and trichome production has been really good so hopefully they live up to my expectations.
Just a lonely FxS in there now. She's really filling the tent out though so I might just wait for her to finish in there by herself before planting again.
Thanks again to everyone for their invaluable help, advice and words of encouragement. Looking forward to sharing some dried shots in a few days.
