Absolutely gutted to report that the purple SN lost it's main cola to bud rot.

It seemed to only show overnight but has obviously been going for a while. I've chopped the main and put her back in the tent but suppose she'll probably need to come down tomorrow. Not tooooooo much of an issue as she appears to have a decent yield anyway but still, i'm gutted never the less. She had loads of airflow but the buds are extremely dense and I suppose the RH was just a bit high for her.

On a better note, everyone's trichs are telling me to harvest pretty much now and the fade is strong. I'll be chopping the purple tomorrow and the others on Sunday-Monday by the look of it. I'd do it now but want to flush a little longer.

Let's get the bad news out of the way:

Thankfully after close inspection, everything else seems clean and free of mould.

Dry that room out especially at night time, up the temperature and airflow bud rot can spread like wildfire.

Damn, sorry to hear and see that, man! How high was the humidity? I a man worried about the same thing with my current grow, as I am doing all I can (without spending any more) to keep humidity under 60 in my cabinet.

Glad the rest are looking so good, but yeah, my condolences.

Thanks dude. Hovering around 50% which I knew was a little high during flower but ya live and learn. The best cola's had it but the rest is still ok, luckily it was spaced out enough to have no spread which is a blessing. Could have been worse.

Need to invest in a dehumidifier. Sounds like you do too!

I'm sorry to hear that man! That sucks but at least you caught it?
So far I've been very lucky in my tent with humidity being a big issue. If it wasn't for two small dehumidifiers blowing sterile air over my plants and give my tents regular cleans with safe disinfectants/surfactants I think I probably would have had an issue too.

But lessons learned are never a bad thing in the long run I guess!
