Once agai
3 gallons seems to be "In The Wheelhouse" for coco. So very many like 3 gallon and 2 gallon as well.

I soak my seeds for about 24 hours in shot glasses on a heating pad, then they go to the paper towel method. I also have coco pellets to germ with as well. The paper towel method has served me well overall. The easiest is dropping seeds directly to pot. It generally takes a little longer for the tap root to pop up. Exercise patience.

Once again thanks so much! I'll go with 3 gallon to start.

And yes, soak seeds, then paper towel method is what I'm going to try, and then straight into a 3 gal pots

Sorry...again dumb question, but to save a few $ could I use a reg heating pad and wrap some bath towels around the heating pad if the low setting would be 'generally' to high (for the paper towel method)?

And once again I really do appreciate EVERYONE'S input.

No dumb questions. You've got to ask to learn. I personally would only use a water proof growing heat pad. My last Vivosun water proof heating pad was only 12 dollars. You could also put shot glass/plate with paper towel in plastic bag on top of a satellite/cable receiver to germinate. The area should be darkened if possible. Lots of people use that type machine heat. Oh, don't use a porcelain plate. I use ceramic.
