I think you could bring the lights a little closer to increase photosynthesis. Ive got my mbap likr 8 inches away from 2 85w 1825s with no burning, thr others are up to 6 inches away from 320w in a 3.5x2 foot area. Different strains react differently to light intensity, but u can experiment

Which strain is that, the goldy? Im trying to read through this thread and keep track of what everyone is doing. My MBAP was growing 5" a day in every direction, never seen anything like it

Ive found if you crack the stem with the "supercropping" technique, the other branches will have energy diverted to them. I think thats whats happening. It doesnt hurt bud developement on the branches you crack, it seems to make them a littlr bushier if anything, after the pinch. Its alot easier than the ponytailing and tying things down everyday, though ive been doing both. I only did that in my MBAP though, if you were really meticulous you could get a perfect canopy.

Oh yeah, be careful and go gently if ur gonna try that, some parts are more delicate and hollow than others, theres a great tutorial on growweedeasy

Here's a couple pics of day 21 for my sour bubbly. Moved into a bigger pot last week. Seems to have slowed down but I think I left her go in the solo cup too long. Hopefully the roots are spreading throughout the new pot.

Update:


Little runty (Double Grape, illum) Started out weird and funky. I have been able to coax her out of that and become a more "normal" looking plant.

It's way more fun starting with something that isn't perfect and bringing her around. The grower of the year can do that.

Here she is on day 21, she just threw out her female parts yesterday, so the flower stretch is soon.

This time next week, she will have 2 300w Mars knock offs above her. Give her a bit more light.
