i found this forum when i googled mephisto customer service, so i posted to see if its all boot lickers or true discussion of their gear and its viability

nah, This is the first time i tried their shit. I bought thru an ebay reseller, Jen Workman, out of Leadville colorado. Thgere were 3 seeds for $45 shipped. I did a comparative grow, west coast og from fast buds, O G Kush from dinafem, and a 3 bears og from mephisto. after a week, the mephisto is MIA, it germed, showed a weak back of a folded stem, and never got cotylen or seed hull above ground. I dropped the other two now, they are worth 22.50 each...
So. no biggie, i have run at least 30 seeds of a large variety since january, t5his is my ONLY failure... so i sent a not to customer service... and this was the response...

Unfortunately with so may variables involved it would be impossible for us to guarantee everyone's seed success. We germ test everything and if it does not pass 90% germination rate than we do not release it. We put all of this info on our website along with a germination guide so that everyone gets off to the best possible start with our gear since you success is our success.

Hey bud? they put lotta shit on that website. My reality is, I bought 3 seeds from Jen Workman, a reseller, for $45 shipped, and one is dead so far. If t6hey wont back their shit sol;d thru resellers, they should say that, I will... thats my experience so far with mephisto

If they offered you should take it. There are always problems with anything that is grown from a seed. This site has a lot of loyal customers of mephisto and we all have had a good experience with their gear.

Appreciate your opinion @doobie57z ..but @Dudeski is right...if you bought them from a re-seller you need to approach them about the problem.....

I'm not saying your re-seller made any mistake..but it could be that the seed is old..or stored wrong..or you are just unlucky....but..you need to go back to the vendor you bought them from or your issue cannot be Resolved.

ok, looks like they sell an inferior product and placate customers with more free inferior products, thats the ILGM business model,lmao. Almost every response speaks of accepting failures because of freebies....i dont5 want anything to deo with failures... good luck, thanks for the info, its how i learn, that $45 will educate a lotta people. You bought seeds off ebay. Cant say much about what to expect from there. I have lost plenty of plants in almost 2 decades of growing. Not that big a deal. It happens. And it happens most when they are young. I always just planted another. There has been times I blamed the gear. But I had used several seeds of that kind or from that company before I deam the gear shit.

It could be the gear could be you. Get more and try. Currently I've been having issue with my strawberry nuggets. 2 germed but I fucked up one the other died. Not sure why yet. Got 3 more to pop. But runnin 2 tents still filled with this gear and others.
