Indoor Mephisto & AutoPots

I'm also new to growing. I'm in flowering of my first grow from some random bag seeds so I'll be learning auto as well as still learning everything in general. I'm going 100 different ways right now but narrowed down to all organic with mephisto beans and I think I'm educated enough to produce some decent stuff all growing conditions willing. This thread will give me a nice insight to my upcoming grow for sure

Oh my lord, I am such a hot mess. You sound JUST LIKE ME!
:d5:

I keep it together with humor and more than a touch of insanity

I'm hoping most of my photo growing skills will transfer to autos so it's not too big of a new learning curve. My first grow 15 or so years ago went well too, I knew nothing at all but I was on a forum (now gone) and had help from a lot of decent folks. I miss those people but can't find them, scattered to the wind I guess.

Not much new today, plants are still growing. I need to do some work on the photo side of things today that's about it.

I also belonged to a site years ago and got to know the people very well. We actually found out that 3-4 of us lived within 50 miles of each other, and we used to get together once a month and have burgers, exchange seeds, old gear, etc. It was fun. Then over time people faded away into the sunset. I miss it. I currently work almost 70 hours a week between taking care of mom and my full time job. AFN is my social life!!
:crying:

This week I'm going to dive into this forum and start combing grow journals and reading up on autos and start preparing. Still trying to figure out some humidity issues in my tent at the moment but think i should have everything set pretty well to start.

That is cool, I never met anyone off any forums, even this one yet although there are a few close to here. The forum was "Treating Yourself" which is a magazine now and website still exists but no more forum. I was working that much at a previous job because I commuted to another city, and my current job I commute but less hours, but I'm on sabbatical for a bit.

High or low humidity?
Do you have your Meph beans yet or know which ones you'll grow?
I've been on awhile and I still have yet to read a lot of things that would help me out. I end up wandering all over the place and absorb a bit of everything.

Humidity is still skyrocketing at night. My setup isnt in an optimal place so its posing issues trying to control it. I havent ordered beans yet but I will be soon. I'm gonna start with SODK and northern cheese and then I'll get a handful of freebies with those. And I'll grow 6.

I found my basement was way better, always 19C year round but the humidity was too high so I picked up a dehumidifier on sale and solved that. Upstairs isn't great in the winter I got two outside walls and I'm fighting a few issues myself but will iron it out. Summer will actually be better as there is a huge blue spruce in the front yard that shades the house.
Sounds like it will be a good grow, hope you post a journal!

Looks like a neat journal thread. Neat as in interesting. Not neat as in not messy.

Ha thanks, my room is a maze right now. But I keep things super clean so no garbage, just too much crap stacked up. The tents take up most of the room, I would love to strip the carpet out and use the whole room but everything is new.

Seedlings are coming along nice and I'm noticing them increase in size daily, I'll take more pics in a couple days but still not much to see.

I live by the gulf coast and this time of year the temps can change 30-40 degrees in a day and my tent is in a metal building so climate is a tough thing to control. Not looking forward to the 100 degrees and 100% humidity coming up though that will be a challenge lol
