Indoor Mephisto & AutoPots

Haha yeah, she took me by surprise a bit! All worth it in the end. One of mine turned out purple and provided me with the first and only purple weed I've ever enjoyed!

I do still prefer growing the larger plants from Mephisto though. Got my eye on the HBSS and Ripley's.

I've got Fantasamo Express and Walter White, I think they get a bit bigger I have to check the strain information. I'll see how those Sweet Seeds do as well. I would love to get a pink/purple pheno, reason why I dried a Devil strain from SS.

Small update, I made more tea it’s 24 hours in, 24 to go and I’ll add another round in to all the plants. Looks nice and clean here, I’ll take another pic looks like a nasty bog house now :crying:
But it’s a good thing, nice bennies brewing up.

Decided can’t hurt much now so I topped one of my Chemdogging gals, still not sure if I should top a Grapey.

Strawberry Nuggets is looking good, they are all at day 22 now and picking up so may still do ok.

Picture of the whole tent now, with a couple of photos vegging as neighbors. Don’t you gals know photos and autos hate each other? No, just the growers do. Kidding, but there is some hate out there but not in this forum :bighug:
Don’t hate, participate :smokeit:

I'm generally not into girlie things, but I got a big soft spot for pink. Going back to pink hair on my next dye job :dancer:

Will update this thread in a bit when lights come on and I can get some more pics, got some good ones from yesterday but a few days in between I can see more results from last post.
TRIED not dried ha ha, can't edit it as Mom quoted it. I am a horrid speller as well so I'm always going back so my threads don't look like a chimpanzee with a head injury made them :face:

Looking great the Strawberry Nugs is a slow starter she will take off right around preflower I know both mine did. Btw I found out mine is fine so far haven't found anymore seeds I think they were just calyxes. I harvested her today at 20 percent amber and hung her up after I trimmed her whole for a slow dry. Was way bigger nugs than I thought was all buried lol. The buds have pink bled into them inside and purple outside.

Crap @bhaskara_phoenix I missed your reply sorry!
Thank you :toke:
Yes she is taking off now, loves the tea and nutrient boost too I think.
I'm glad you didn't find seeds, so no nanners either just keep an eye out. I think Auto's are less prone to it as there are less triggers (like light issues) but genetics could throw some depending on the strain if it is prone to hermaphroditic tendencies.

Ha ha, I'm getting up there in age too, but I've seen a few ladies with the full white hair going on rocking stripes of color, I think it's great to see that at their age, especially in this small town. I want to be a rebel granny too one day :headbang:

OK gonna harass @pop22 or anyone else that can chime in on this. Read your thread Pop and others but could not find the answer so maybe I am overthinking it as usual?
Is it better to have the lines as short as you can with the res located close to the pots or OK to have it further away? I'm about to get my res going and I want to place it. Once. :crying:
Second Q, I found my trays were always full on the two older pots I ran a couple photos in last time, I am wondering if there is an ideal height to have the res elevated from the pots? Maybe it was too high and put too much pressure on the valves? I noticed the design changed from old to new design, there were ridges under the valves so it sat a bit above, new pots it's flat. Maybe that caused issues?

I've seen pics of hundreds of auto pots in a greenhouse, length of the lines is not all that important. Leave yourself some extra in case you have to/want to move things around. Also, auto pots are not pressure dependent so height of the res is not critical either, it just needs to be higher than the bases. I've one res up on an 8" high stand and the other sits in top of a 5 gallon bucket.

As to water in the tray, as long as its not flooding, its ok. You may see this esp. with large thirsty plant as they'll suck the tray dry quickly, causing it to refill more often. I three year of using up to 10 pots, I've not had one single problem other than occasional plugging of the line. If I see a little droop in my plants, I check to see if the bases are dry and if they are, I keep a spare set if lines pre-cut and assembled with fitting and just swap them out. I them flush the removed lines with a 30ml syringe of hot, soapy water. Takes 5 minutes or less to do both.

Crap of course it's vacuum not pressure, forgot that one :face:
Thank you for the reassurance as well! I have airdomes or stones in netpots in all of them so it keeps oxygen to the wet areas too, my plants were OK last time even with what "looked" like standing water.
I am building two harnesses today, and I got a syringe and several air pumps close by to blow it all out as well.
:slap: for your fast and great response Pop22 I can go set up the res right now :pass:
