I’ll try and refine the setup and make some more informative information about the extraction and do a complete write up at some point con the future. For now it’s just going to be a sideshow to this grow. I have a bit of trouble focusing on more than one thread at a time.

For now I’m going to experiment while growing out these Beast Mode autos and then when I’m happy with the extraction I’ll make it more complete.

Got some errands to run but had a productive morning. Didn’t break anything today. Final vessel for reduction is a 100ml. I chose this size because it allows me to add liquidizer when done and still fit my syringe in it to extract oil. Here it is before starting with about 50ml in it.

Can’t really tell but it’s at a roaring boil and my hand is cold. Liquid is probably about 120f but upper glass is cold.

Once the water is completely extracted I break down unit and allow the oil to come up to 200f. It won’t stay there for more than 15 minutes while the stirrer incorporates the liquidizer. Then I can fill cartridges.

I’m sure there will be questions.
I’m still fine tuning some things. Thought my infrared thermometer would work but it is inconsistent with liquid so I need to use the lab thermometer. Also need to hook up a vacuum gauge. Had a few issues with not knowing what the vacuum was.

I figured a way to get my broken Buchner to work so I may try to get a run done agin in the next few days with some tweaks to the system and polishing the liquid first. So what you are seeing so far is still under refinement and I will journal the whole process in extraction when it gets perfected. Will be continuing the experiments here on our little hike until then. Feel like we have at least two months with the Megabuds Beast mode autos so plenty of time.

Until then looking forward to trying out this vape cartridge when I get back from errands.

Little mid week update to the @MegaBuds Beast Mode Autos. They had there last major trim yesterday and just light removal of nuisance foliage from here on out. They have been growing almost an inch a day in the stretch. Been paying close attention to daily growth at this point to make sure they are getting the right feed without to much stress. Seem to be performing well At this point. Just trying to keep them fed to keep up with the rapid growth. Tips are a bit burnt but new growth is still nice and bright so let’s see if we can ride that

the girls are about 30 inches around now. And close to 16 inches tall. And growing daily.

And here are some shots of my Megabuds Collasal Purple photo. Not good at this but trying to clone. Will see what comes of this try. PhD my rock wool to 5.5 with super thrive and rapid start and a little mycos. Took the cuttings and dipped them in rooting hormone and into the cubes in a moist box on my heat mat.

You folks had all responded previously and I figured I’d tag you back in. Been doing some stuff and the girls are growing. Had this little hike going on and then some one shut the lights. Figured I’d send up the signal flare. Hopefully no more site revamps before these plants finish.

And oh yeah just realized I never said how that cart was. Damn nice. Been a few days since that errand but the Blue Dream Vape Cart was a nice smooth smoke and high.

Not much going on but how bout some details on these Megabuds Beast mode autos. So the flowering stretch is on. Seeing more pistils and bud sites daily.

I am running the cobs and QBs right around 60w per plant at maybe 16” above plants. Plants are all about 30” around and 20” tall except the short one in the front. Light schedule is only 16/8. They wake up everyday ready to get done sun and are tired and relaxed as the lights are ready to shut off. Mid 70s with 50% Rh at the moment. No topping just LST.

And top down. Color seems good so I’ll increase the feed a bit next fill and push these girls a bit more. Going to really test the tolerance with some bud explosion and sweet candy by next weekend.

Boring stuff until I can really see how the bud structure starts to form and fill in. I’ve been PHing with silica just to be sure these girls were going to be strong enough to hold up these Megabuds. Hope it was needed.
