New Grower Medimadness’ rotating garden of lunacy.

Hey AFN, update here for my lovely little garden ticking over nicely and giving me plenty to do which i’m loving! Took some pics under my white kitchen fluorescent to show the girls off a little better!
More to come in there since it’s the best lighting.

Val day 55 in soil:
Coming along really well, buds forming and frosting starting to come in more.
Lightly defoliated her to open up a few of the bud sites but left as many solar panels and leaf mass as possible for now and only defoliate as needed.
Her height is around 36.5cm due to LST otherwise she would be atleast 50. Taller if not for the accidental topping! With most budsites only off by a few cm and a few lower budsites in the middle i’m really happy with her progress. Not bad at all!

Greta day 44 in soil:
She is really beautiful with great colour and lots of buds coming on. Supercropped another stem too which came back on well. Lightly defoliated but barely needed it as she’s opened up to the light enough! Great structure.
Height on one of the colas has reached the same as Val but they’re all a different height but oh well. Still a great plant so far.

Tilda day 30 in soil:
Coming on very well to the LST with everything at equal height due to the transplant pot allowing me to get her flat without dragging i’m the soil.
Gave her a light trim also to open up the side branching and encourage a bit of upward growth.
She loved her first feed, a very light grow mix.

Broomehilda day 18 in soil:
Coming along really well after topping and she’s beginning to outgrow her current pot already. I have purchased a few 5 gallon smart pots and plant to transplant again tomorrow! Very good genetics so far and drinking a lot of water in that small pot!

Amelia day 9 in soil:
Coming on well with first true leaves develoling. Lightly misted her as she’s starting to drink a little more.

@davisgirl @NiceOption Thank you :bighug:
Really am very happy with tilda. I think she may end up quite the monster in the end, toots develoling so quickly i think she may bind the 11L before flowering really kicks off and will want a 5 gallon but i’m not sure if i have the space since Broomehilda will be i’m a 5 Gallon soon.

Been a very productive morning too so will be making another update today, things are moving so quickly it’s hard to keep up!!

@Pigskinfantasy Cheers man really appreciate it. It’s nice to know that despite not going down the academic route i always wanted that my time spent in horticulture and gardening hasn’t been wasted!
My dream is that legislation happens over here in UK so i can easily enter the growing industry for myself, so i really am pulling out all the stops trying to learn. The way things are going i can see it happening quite soon!
Can’t wait for the space to start working with Photos too! :pighug:

Hey AFN, just any quick daily update on my garden.

Things are moving along so quickly if i don’t journal daily I will soon be outmatched by the plants and lose track!

Val day 56 in soil:
Moving along very well and still packing on weight like no ones business. Bud structure is very dense and not stemmy at all too!
The other colas have all shot up and are starting to match the height of the two older ones. Lower buds are strong and thick and i have her a pretty heavy defoliation as she really needed it along with a little tactical defoliation of younger fan leaves.

Greta day 45 in soil:

Greta is soon matching height with Val and is going to overtake her for certain. I Supercropped another stem as i had a little mishap with the circulation fan falling on her and bent the stem a little and thought i may as well! Looking good!
Buds are coming in very strong and smell is pungent now! Can barely smell Val alongside her.

Tilda day 31 in soil:

Looking fantastic! Responding to the LST amazingly and everything is on equal footing, and is set up to develop many strong colas. One of the best training jobs i’ve done so far, just gotta wait and see if she brushes out the way she’s supposed to.

Broomehilda day 19 in soil:

Coming on so strong, am very impressed. Will be transplanting her into a 5 gallon smart pot next week.
Fed her a little as she’s filling out the small pot she seems to have used up all viable material in there already. i keep saying this but these are strong genetics for the price!

I can't get over what a great job you've done on Tilda. I'm hoping that some of this will stay in my head long enough to be utilised!

@NiceOption Cheers man, since I had a idea of how she'll grow from Val it wasnt too hard to plan the LST for her. Glad to find out it gets easier especially with the same strain. Just a shame I lost one of the branches from the top node or shed have a bit more mass by now!

every time i come in here you've started off another girl :eyebrows:

to start off LST'ing the girls, do you typically lay them over? like, main stalk horizontal?
my Tangie will be ready for some training any day now but i don't know if i can bend her like that :crying:
but i really do dig the structure you get consistently...

great stuff mate :d5:
