It sounds slightly complicated but I would love to apply it to my weight lifting or even guitar playing if possible.
cool, nice to have you on board...no pun intended!

The ratio is really cool stuff. Man hit YouTube up, and the inter web bro! There's lots to absorb. Start taking a look. Maybe you will find a way to apply it in what you do. Many of my friends have done this in their businesses and they pay me to help them find ways to "ratio" their lives. It sounds really complicated, but for me, I can figure it out if I spend time with someone.
My students joke and say that "Coach can see the matrix"!

Actually that is my intention. The far red 730nm is added to put the plants to sleep faster = longer night but it also contributes to the stretch shade response when added to the red in my cob spectrum. I want the stretch to start sooner and be faster but not exaggerated. I think adding more blue will tame that response.

Agreed!

There is a weight lifting program already based on this. Your making this easy on me.

And then the guitar. Easy Peazy!

This is just to get you started my friend!

Sorry for the poor photo, but here is my nute line up. Full line of Advanced Hydroponics of Holland, plus some overload, and rhino skin for silicates. the overload was to help me balance out better the flower stage. It has some nutes I needed to keep stuff in ratio. Not a perfect science really, because I can't measure this stuff perfectly, and getting ratios of elements correct is not easy anyway. Just doing my best!

There are some photos in my first post I never really addressed, like the Apple logo. There are many more examples. Here's just a few to get the golden ratio brain activated in you guys!

Nine of this really means anything to you now. Later it will start to make sense.

Get ready now! This can be useful??

What about these?

And now the deeper stuff than if you look deep, you will find meaning. There is not wrong answers if the connection can't be found. That is the great part of this concept. Due to the infinit possibilities, anything and everything can be and is in the ratio.

Ok, back on topic of growing better cannabis here. Below is an article of an experienced grower and researcher who has determined the ratios for NPK as it relates to cannabis in its various stages.

Do any of you have feedback on this?:doc3:

There have been many people that say you need to use nutes that are designed for MJ, so what is the ideal NPK ratio for Veg and Flower? Many people say that you can use bloom booster that are high in Phosporus and other say you need more Potassium in flowering. What is ideal more Phosporus or more Potassium for flowering? Also what is the ideal amount of Nitrogen for flowering.

Cannabis requires a 1:2 ratio of P to K throughout all stages of it's growth.

It's worth stating for the record the actual ratios of N, P and K that cannabis requires through it's life cycle:

Vegetative Stage
N - P - K
3 - 1 - 2

Flowering Stage
N - P - K
1 - 1 - 2

Final Flowering Stage
N - P - K
0 - 1 - 2

To translate this into a 12 week schedule for a typical Skunk type such as Cheese or Psychosis would give something along these lines:

Veg week 1: 3 - 1 - 2
Veg week 2: 3 - 1 - 2
Flo week 1 : 3 - 1 - 2
Flo week 2 : 3 - 1 - 2
Flo week 3 : 1 - 1 - 2
Flo week 4 : 1 - 1 - 2
Flo week 5 : 1 - 1 - 2
Flo week 6 : 1 - 1 - 2
Flo week 7 : 0 - 1 - 2
Flo week 8 : 0 - 1 - 2
Flo week 9 : 0 - 0 - 0
Flo week 10: 0 - 0 - 0

This schedule reduces the Nitrogen two weeks into the 12/12 period which will assist in stopping the vertical growth (stretch). It cuts out all Nitrogen after 6 weeks which will result in a less leafy, smoother burning end product with greater density to the flowers. The last two weeks of plain water is sufficient to leach out all accumulated salts and give a clean end product. Three week flush as advocated by some really isn't necessary if the Nitrogen is cut out after 6 weeks. The people using a three week flush tend to use Canna nutes which have too much N in them for late flowering and this is why they get a benefit from flushing for three weeks.

Hope that makes sense. Despite all the crap the nute companies fill our heads with about the need for all kinds of fancy bottles, you really don't need any of them. Cannabis is a simple plant, a weed in fact, and all it needs is the correct NPK at the correct time plus a full range of trace elements, that is hard fact and no amount of BS an marketing from the nute companies will ever change that fact.

Anyway :) Hope this helps you a little bit ? Good luck and Happy Growing :)

Ok, so if anyone is wondering what happened in this grow,...we had a slight malfunction:crying:
The ppms meter I bought was not functioning properly. I thought the fact that the numbers were jumping around a lot was just the fact that I was moving my hand too much, and didn't realize it was an indicator that the meter wasn't working properly.

That translates to me burning the crap out of five of the original seven ladies. Only one green crack and the massive midget survived. The other five may have been viable to save, but they were completely stunted and looked liked they would not give me more than some minimal yield. I hit the reset on the grow to some extent. I Germaine's another GSC from Fastbuds and a Fruit Punch from Heavyweight seeds. They have already popped their heads up, but I am waiting to fill the last three pots with the Illuminautos I ordered, but they are not here yet.

Sorry for delay. Pictures coming soon! I have a day off today and can get some stuff done. See you all, never give up, even the best growers make mistakes and the newest growers can grow monsters of perfection. As in life with growing there are ups and downs.

Rock on:headbang::headbang::headbang: see you all soon!

That sux, I use EC, don't compliate things with ppm or TDS. Have calibrated once in 4 years and was within 0.02 EC
