New Grower massgrass' first plants ever! Cob. Organic. Gbd super soil. Auto Mazar, Sour Crack, and friends.

Those twisty leaves are curious. If they are bleached white then that is diagnostic of light stress. Those images almost look like that strain might have a lighter underside of the leaf?

When I used to grow photos I'd run across a twisty plant, mostly hormones, they'd usually yielded more. In fact, there is a toxic substance that causes twists and increased production. Does it by hormones changes, can't remember the name, never used it since I don't want to die from my weed. No worries when it happens naturally. Some guys I've seen reproduce that with extreme defoliation, although I've never done it.

I have had those same twists with bleached leaves from my light stressing the plant.

Those claws are more a symptom of your environment at the time, maybe moving it closer to your fan to increase transportation would help? But I don't think it's an issue that will have a significant impact on your yield.

Thank you again, amigo.

In gratitude for your mentoring, I am contemplating naming my first born child Jingo.

He's 10 now, and his name is currently Marcos, but Jingo has a nice ring to it. He's way laid back, is down with gardening, and he could be amenable. [emoji12]

Gracias, jingo!
My first session with my own dankness will be deemed, and forever remembered as, " The Jingo Session"

What's good fellow farmers?

I'm always on here with questions and problems.

My girls are looking a little funky, but I've been advised not to stress about it, so I'm not.

I didn't have to water last night, so I got to do some leaf tucking, and just appreciate the energy of these living things I have nurtured.

Tonight it's time to step back and appreciate what I have right now.(one of the secrets of a happy life.)

So here's some pics of the mamacitas to reflect upon.

Could you get a close-up of the Leaf tips on that SC1 under the light you have they almost look like they're turning black or grey. Either way, they seem to be clawing under a little bit more than I would think from just environmental conditions.

keep an eye on that leaf claw, hopefully the nutrients are not too strong, and good luck with this one mass grow. Happy with the Auto Mazar so far? Anyway -good luck with the rest of the grow

So anyway, massgrass. What I've been thinking on your twisty leaves it may be an atypical presentation of Cal def., It would also explain the slightly light color of green in all your plants. They don't utilize N as well if there low calcium.

Looks good bro! Im subbed in for the ride! I'm on my first cob organic grow also!
Good to have you DH. Organic seems like the way to go for personal-medical use. Gonna start trying some new stuff soon.

:vibe:

Looking good MG! Already popped some new mephistos I see :headbang: beat me to it haha .

"To get that humidity in check, get yourself some more airflow 24/7. "

∆ Cheers Nebula and thanks for your input.
Yes my 171 cfm 4" inline is on 24-7 around 50%. Tent is 112 ft³.
1 Oscillating points down from ceiling corner.
1 stationary blowing gently through canopy.
1 clip on blows across heater.

"I run my 8" exhaust 24 hours a day. Fans run day and night as well. I like to have a bit more exhaust capabilities personally. Run your inline fan hooked up to a thermostat, have it kick on at say 79 F and off at 76 F or whatever you find works best. Day/night thermostats work well for setting separate temps."

∆ I bought a day night control on March 3 and it arrived defective. Still waiting for replacement. Got a simple thermostat control which seems to run the radiator well.

"The goal is to have enough air exchange or the humidity will rise and temps rise and Co2 becomes an issue as well. With the fan kicking on multiple times per hour you will see a reduction in humidity."

∆ Yes, I totally get what you are saying. The ambient humidity is around 55% lately, and inside the tent is around the same, so I'm thinking that's indicative of decent exchange. As you described, my Rh went way down when I adjusted my exhaust volume, so I've been leaving it on.

"The Bu's Tea worked nicely for me this week, foliar and soil drench. I'd add a little more to the tea, maybe some kelp and EWC. Check out TeaLab set ups for tea brewing kits and brew ingredients. If you want to go cheap you can put one together rather cheaply just don't skimp on the pump. 571 gph does the job for a 5 gal brew :pass:
"

∆ Wish I caught your post earlier, but I got a little something before I read it. Picked up a ring diffuser rated for 103 gph, and a pump the same size. Think ill try it till I upgrade, then use it to oxygenate water. The simple TeaLab kit looks good with the pump, aerator, and teabag. Probably pop for that and maybe try their tea too. Good looking out.

∆ Looking at a new aerator, some ewc, bu's teabags, and black strap tonight that want some action ;and some girls that need some love.
Kelp sounds good to me, do you roll liquid or Granular? I read the granular gives fungi something to bind to.

peace out, and come again.
