Extraction Magical Butter Machine

I took the plunge and got my MB e2 machine today in the mail! Decided to buy it off eBay as it was 129.99 versus the $174 or however much it costs directly from the website. For my first run, I think i'm going to try and do a potent batch of tincture using Everclear and about a zip or so of HSO Blue Dream Auto as it's the least fragrant and mild flower I have. Will repot back with results after I catch up on this thread and whip up a batch.

Please do! I use their recipes at full strength. Just be careful to have good ventilation using the everclear, 190 can be volatile.

I have used it in oils, but not alcohol. I've put it in oil during decarbing for medables. I really should use it more because I think it helps with bioavailability...

I use it in my coconut butter but didn't in my vegetable glycerine tincture. Not sure if it would have made a difference.

Eight hour run at 130 today using a vegetable glycerin and about an ounce of some Blue Amnesia. Kind of skipped over the green dragon and went to brown. :smoking:

Going to give it a test after dinner and see how it hits.

Does the magical butter machine make tincture? If so why is needed for it? And can you do CBD AND THC ONES?

Yes, vegetable glycerine and eth tincture. I think for easy of use, no temperature guessing, just push 2 buttons. It is just simple and self contained. Makes coconut butter like a dream! My vg tincture turned out nice. I dont think it matters if its cbd, all in the buds. I only run bud in mine

I make so many things with that machine... My goodness. We couldn't live without one. The only thing that's pissing me off is they won't add my wife to their fakebook group... They keep denying her over and over for like 3 months now. We were like one of the first few hundred customers to buy it from THEM with they FIRST came out a few years back. So that's a bit annoying however has zero to do with the machines performance at all!

Lately I've been making butter with trim and popcorn and this Kerry Gold Irish Grass Fed butter from, all places you can imagine, Wal-Mart... UNSALTED (salt added just makes it boil hotter than you need it too and it will burn). VG. Coconut Oil, Olive Oil. Our favorite now is the Snickerdoodles. I'll make a pound of butter and the recipe calls for 1/4 cup and it makes 50 cookies per run so that's 200 edibles in one pound. LOVE IT!!!
