Photoperiod Mac1 (Caps Cut), MB-15 and Gelato 33

A weeks worth of growth. Trichome production is starting. I think mac1 has stopped it's stretch.. We should be in the "swell zone" soon. No real terp profiles yet, but within the next week or so I expect the aroma to kick in. I'm not sure what week this is.. But by the looks, I'm guessing it's week 4ish of flower.

Both plants are super green and healthy. Only using plain water and compost teas. I found a really good concentrated tea blend online a few months ago and decided to try it. I was simply tired of the brewing process.. This stuff has been amazing. I add a teaspoon of molasses and the plants just looovee it. Save me a much of time.

7 more days! I'm starting to remember how well this gelato cut yields. I'm glad I did this mini run first to refresh my memory of her. All is well.. Both plants are thriving and starting to put on some weight. I'd guess we are about half way there. I may do a final top dress this coming weekend but that's about it. The MB-15 is one of the slowest vegging plants I've grown, lol. I transplanted her into a 15 gal pot and she's just starting to snap out of it. She'll be going into the flower tent at the end of April, around the same time that the other two should be finishing up. I took a cut/clone off of her about 2 weeks ago and it's already rooted.. That's what's in the little shot glass in the bottom leftish area. I've popped sooo many good seeds this last week as well. I may add those plants to this journal at some point.

I've also learned a great deal about companion planting. I've listened to a few amazing podcasts and interviews and did some background studying as well.. After processing all of the information, I'm convinced, that plants are incredibly smart and that they don't need us, lol. I've also decided that I'm never going to grow another a plant in a pot all by itself. It always felt weird to me, but now I understand why it felt weird. It's because it's not natural at all. Plants aren't isolated in nature.. Their roots are constantly communicating with roots of other plants.. I also learned that during this communication, nutrients can be and are, exchanged. If plant A needs phosphorus, the roots will talk to plant b, and if plant B has it to spare, plant b will release it for plant A.. And if plant B needs something that plant A has, plant A will do the same for plant B. The whole thing about roots choking each other out is not valid in large containers. That may happen in a one gallon pot, it even then, based on what I know now, I doubt it would happen even in that one gal pot.

Anywhooo! Here are a couple of pics..

Forgot to update this thread! Here are some current pics. Caps cut of Mac will probably get chopped this weekend. Most people I know who have her dialed in chop at day 56. This run was just for some personal head stash. The clone Im vegging now will be the serious run in a couple of months. The Gelato 33 cut will be another 2 weeks or so. These cuts both had basically zero veg time.. I cant wait to re run her. The yield is awesome. Also added the MB 15 to the flower tent. She's at the end of week 2 of flower in a 15 gal pot.

All organic. No bottles. No ph'ing.. Just teas and a top dress. Can't complain a bit.

Almost for got about this thread! Well.. Both the Caps Cut and Gelato 33 were chopped a few weeks ago! MB-15 is a week or two away from chop. A new Caps Cut was thrown in the 15 gal pot that the Caps Cut and Gelato 33 were in. Just dug a hole and threw it in. I haven't top dressed anything yet. The soil should be nice and alive for this 3rd run in it so I will wait a few weeks. Both are super healthy, without a scratch on em. I was recently gifted a Grape Stomper cut, so it will be thrown in the mix of this journal soon!
