Yesterday I was convinced based on trichome color that I probably had another week to go ...maybe even more, but today I have a lot of amber trichomes. Some of the buds midway down look to be 50 % amber. Most just have a few sprinkled in. I have maybe 3-4 buds with no amber.
I've always said that 20% amber would be good for these two plants because I want them to be midway between a head and body high but how the heck do you measure 20% when there are millions of them that you can't even see because they are on the interior of the bud?
I almost picked up the shears to cut her down for fear that I will end up with a couchlock high, but then I remembered someone here on the forums saying " when you think they are ready, wait another week".
If I have a bud that's 50% amber should I snip it before it's too late or could it just be that I touched that bud so it turned amber?
I was planning to hang the whole plant but some of these buds look more than ready and others could be left longer.
I hate making decisions
