New Grower Lucy's Very First Grow - Ak48 auto in soil LED

Thanks Wes, yeah this is my 50/50 grow so I'd like maybe 25% amber trichomes and there aren't many of those yet. The next grow which is underway is more of a pure sativa, and after that a blueberry kush for bed time use.
The ability to know what you're using is such a novelty right now that I want to try everything. We still have no legal sales available here yet even though it's been legal for a year. I'm Just happy to know how to get the effects I want, when I want them. Very cool.

Hi Lucy! Your flowers are so beautiful! I can imagine their sweet smell!

A small dehumidifier might solve your problem. There are more than a few at Amazon under $50. I battle low humidity, and had to get a humidifier. The only downside is that it only holds a gallon of water and it needs to be refilled during the day. So you might find you need to empty yours frequently.

I might have to get one Davisgirl. The biggest problem I've had so far was last night when I had to water 4 plants when humidity was already over 60%. That's why the AC unit went back in. 4 plants here is 18 gallons of wet soil.

@Dudeski I am venting into a 14' X 14' room that the tent is in so upping the fan speed won't do much if I don't get all that humidity out of the room.

I just looked ahead at the forecast for the next two weeks and the humidity is going to be over 80% almost every day. I took @davisgirl suggestion and just purchased a dehumidifier. It will arrive on Monday. I'm gonna need it.

Right now I have the tent wide open with an extra 19" fan blowing on the girls. It doesn't oscillate but it is a gentle breeze giving all the leaves a constant rustle. I am hoping the extra movement will keep bud rot at bay.....on the other hand, having the tent open lessens the airflow from the 6 " outake fan.

I'm clueless as usual :p

Couple more days wont hurt. At least you can address the issue. That should remove a lot of moisture

Day 75

I think that both girls will finish ok but they have been really undernourished and it's showing big time. Stinky has been on plain water for 7 days now. I see a few more amber thrichomes but not enough for me. If they keep turning at this slow rate she will have another week at least. I check every day just in case.

The variegated plant is also having nutrient issues and losing leaves. Lots of yellowing as well. She will need a few weeks to finish so hopefully enough leaves will survive to keep her going. I am feeding her somewhat aggressively now but she seems focused on buds rather than leaves. She has a lot of strong sized buds other than the main cola compared to Stinky. If she finishes properly she'll have a decent yield I think.

I am mentally prepared for the end and now I want it to happen :p Seeing how underfed they are is just a reminder that I made a rather large blunder on the first grow. From now on I'll feed more all the way though !!
