I was wondering if these plants look small for day six. This is my first grow and some of the plants on the internet look huge after a week so I'm just curious. They are getting their first nutrients today(emerald harvest) 2x4x7 tent with a tls 2000. Also just curious how long approx the roots might be at this point. Anything will help thanks

Perfectly fine. Try not to compare your grow to others, it's a fast way to disappointment.
1 grow weed.
2 grow healthy weed
3 grow lots of healthy weed.
4 breed and grow lots of healthy weed

Also, different grow styles will produce different sizes. Make sure when comparing, your comparing apples to apples. Same strain, same medium, etc.
Am in California, and grown since before the legalization. Growing weed is easy. Growing fantastic weed is an art.

Also remember, were all human, most of us will take pics that show off the best of a plant... even when that picture is going in a post in the infirmary.

Picture from my tent currently. Different strains...

Left half of tent is 1 plant, right side is 2, all 3 are same age, but drastically different in size. All autos.

I agree with arthur....looking good so far. If I was going to offer any advice....at this stage I usually water in a circle away from the plant...towards the outer edges of the pot. This will get the roots to spread out because they have to look for the feed. Just my two cents...have a good one. :pass:

@Arthur thanks man I appreciate it alot! Just 2any my first grow be a good on I'm very excited about these lady's. 3 strawberry cheesecake and one northern lights in germination

thanks I appreciate it. How many days in do you think before I should start watering till run off?

I'd like to tell you that the excitement and want to share will be something you'll get used too...
I've got 24 starts in solo cups currently waiting for appearances.... 10 are up, and I'm hovering over them waiting on the rest.... so...

Probably not.

I don't really go by days.....I go by what the plant is doing. Learn to tell when to water by the weight of the pot....when its dry it will be wicked light...if there is much weight to it, it probably could go a few more days. Increase the feed volume gradually (I start with half at day 10 or so, and by the next feeding they're usually ready for the entire jug of feed) until you get to the desired runoff %.

FYI....personally, I don't water to runoff. That is just me, but my opinion is that it can overfeed plants a bit. Again....that is just my personal style, and I've done it the way you are doing it in the past with success...I just do it this way now. lol I hope that doesn't confuse you too much.

Also depending on soil or coco. Soil I don't get runoff as much, and I dont sweat it as much. Coco is a runoff every time medium. Need the old out and the new in.

Ok thanks guys that helps alot. im growing in the mother earth coco perlite. My emerald harvest feeding chart is for photo period so I'm still struggling a little with how much nutrients to give them I've head 1/4 to 1/2 of what that chart says do you guys have any experience with that?!
