Good Sunday Morning AFN family. It rained all night here. Good for my mater plants.
I was sitting here in my rocker on the front porch just after dawn this morning. Roscoe was laying across my feet, his fat belly keeping my toes warm. The fog was thick, visibility maybe 50 yds. Not a vehicle to be heard, no one else up, just the birds singing, me silently smoking a number, and Roscoe farting. 
Suddenly I see a flash of white on the right. Appearing out of the mist and across the front yard is a herd of deer. Nine in all not 100 ft away. Doing the Walmart shuffle as they ambled across the yard quietly munching on my clover. Within five minutes they had grazed their way across the driveway only to disappear back into the mist. I never moved. They never looked my direction. Roscoe slept through the entire ordeal.
There is nothing more peaceful than nature. Life doesn't get any better.

Morning stoners! Woke up feeling stoned, but it went away! 
So I just ate me some mango and I'm getting ready to smoke me some auto purple!

Hey everyone, phew it's a hot one today 
so it's the inaugural paddling pool day of 2016 for the kids.
For those unfamiliar with the tradition, in the uk we don't really have the weather for proper outdoor swimming pools in the garden, so instead we have what can only be described as a small inflatable dinghy filled with a few inches of water, for the children (and all too often a drunken adult) to mess around in when it gets hot.
As you can imagine, after a few hours this fountain of youth is looking far from pristine, and is a heady cocktail of snot, urine, skin, grass, insects and good old fashioned dirt.
I used to love the paddling pool when I was a kid, but I don't fancy a dip in there, it would kill bleach that stuff. Ah well, the lawn will appreciate it this evening. Saw this cool little wasp beetle while I was out there and managed to get a pic. Amazing mimicry, I thought it was a wasp at first glance.

This little hottie, Sandra, who just happens to have a thing for Penguins, gave me a great deal. So, as well as having a new lock, which negates any key copies, I have a date for tomorrow.
