It's usually a quarter of the wet weight

About 20% will be dry 62% at least that is what I have seen.. But of course I could be wrong idly is really a guess as if those nuggets are dense then it could be 30% of the wet weight

The purple are good for long term storage they don't let any light in

I wish they made brown jars to not let any light in at all... but I store in the dark anyway so no real point I guess.

I definitely did consider that, but so far, there hasn't been a lot of long term storage occurring.
