I went with the opha myself.... very good. Like sword fish it has more of a meaty chew to it but still tender.

The wife had a plate of these. Each pair was from a different area. Pretty cool how the taste change from washington to alabama to virginia

.... :smoking: yeah, they always have an option for us poor souls that don't do sea foods! .... It still looks delish' though, kinda like a bacon wrapped pork loin chop! Oooo, dinner idea for later on the grill, there,... .... Gaaahhhh! er-shters sorry brudda, I dissected too many of them during Marine Biology lab! But my Mom would be floating on thin air over that regional specialty plate ... she made oyster pie too-- horror even to the nose! You'd have loved it though,... Thanks for sharing just the same my Southah Brothah ... when you gonna make that Skillet?

I dont partake in the oysters myself. Its the only food i have ever had a reaction to. Im 2 for 2 on being VIOLENTLY sick after eating oysters ..... im not trying for the third. They say they are a natural aphrodisiac so ill order them by the dozen for Ms.Train....

Im heading to feed the future of dinners in the train house...

Some may disagree with me but if being a butcher paid more.... i would totally quit my job to be one. I love the buthering and processing and cooking of meat. Its my happy place

Traditional roast dinner for a Brit,Roast chicken,bread sc,gravy,buttered cabbage with honey roasted root veg and a Yorkshire pudding ,thanks for the help when I made my plants sick
