Any success with it? I've been keeping a dwarf Meyer lemon and dwarf moro blood orange alive for years now. Get maybe a dozen lemons a year around Christmas and not a single orange yet (gonna get nothing this year from either). I'm in your general region... They grow crazy so no real idea how to trim them. Thinking about keeping them in the greenhouse this winter instead of putting them in the basement :pass: I can get better pictures in the daytime :crying:

Well, funny you should ask that....
The first year I had this tree it BLEW UP with monster Lemons! A good 50 or so I'd say! Was IMPRESSIVE!

Then I got all soil cocky thinking "support fruiting with calcium /phos/potassium etc... and gave it an "upgrade" of Coast Of Maine Lobster Mix.... I got some lemons for about the last 5 years but NOTHING like the first... So I think my soil is/was a bit imblanaced... and I THINK this summer I got it dialed closer in now...
BUT.. It was in the greenhouse and we had some COLD spells... so I can't be sure environemtnwasnt part pof the problem...
I am hoping with some new soil amendments coming, foliar feeds, and the Medigrow lights, as well as a MAJOR prune I can get it back happy again...
And THEN.... I will start rebuilding my citrus collection (blood organe, key lime.... all the GOODIES!).... and in the meantime long term build a greenhouse at my parents [property that will PROPERLY accomadate my citrus orchard....
BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal)! :crying:

So.. all that as context that I am no expert at citrus yet...

If your greenhouse temps can be kept nice (not below 60F say)... That's probably the place to go...

And when my Kis Organics nutrient packs get here, I plant to add some and hope to really balance out.... I'll let you know how I make out...
Please, if I forget... tag me from time to time... keep me engaged on this.
cheers man! Glad to see another citrus grower wanna be like me with passion! :crying: :pass:
