Day 28 These girls are ripping the grow bags had drink the trays dry yesterday but i left them dry till today the earthbox rez's were dry so everyone got a bottom watering plain ro/tap ph 6.3. Checked par since their stacking pretty tight but there right around 600 ppfd 700 is just above the canopy about 6" might have to raise the up if DT doesn't stop stretching

Might run out of gas waiting there your on E homie

Gas jumped to $2.79 here so going to fill up at Kroger where i have $.60 off per gallon! Also instacart is idiotic and took me on a giant 25mi circle to drop off 2 orders cuz it had them backward for how it made me go! One order was back like 5 min north from my crib and then other order was a backtrack of 17 miles when i coulda made the whole trip in about 17 miles total! Had i realized it was so big a circle i woulda contacted them and let em know i was taking them out of order! Not only would it have saved me prob 15 miles of driving but it woulda saved prob 40min total cuz i would have avoided traffic as well as not wasting miles driving!

I have used them upside down, it works. The thing about starter plugs is you must learn how to manage the moisture level. Sponges, squeeze out the extra water before planting. It is a learned process. Rock wool you need to monitor the weight because they can hold too much water. Do not water too often and they do best with an air gap.

If you have a problem with algae just cover it for light, no light no algae.

The alkaline in rock wool is left over from the manufacturing process, once you neutralize it (in the instructions) it becomes Inert. From a growing standpoint it comes down to personal preference.

Thanks man i def noticed that! They come out the bag with a smidge of moisture but i put water in shot glass and then said f it and stuck it under the faucet and did like u said and gently squeezed out all the excess water! I noticed how spongy they were and next time will def pull a smidge of the material off to plug the seed hole with BEFORE i stick the seed down in said hole!

I do feel confident seed will be up in no time using these vs direct planting in such a big pot!
