Day 28 These girls are ripping the grow bags had drink the trays dry yesterday but i left them dry till today the earthbox rez's were dry so everyone got a bottom watering plain ro/tap ph 6.3. Checked par since their stacking pretty tight but there right around 600 ppfd 700 is just above the canopy about 6" might have to raise the up if DT doesn't stop stretching :headbang:

Yo @Frankthetank My ham bone is too long to fit between the grate and the lid in the pitbarrell, leaving the lid stuck up. You ever tried to lower the grate? Little nervous about putting hooks in a spiral ham, and don't have a bone saw to knock off 1/2":pass:
No, but I’ve thought about it. If I were in your shoes, I would play with the hooks and see if you can make something work by suspending the grate with the hooks. Just a thought. Otherwise, I would be using firebricks in the basket to elevate the grate…. Or if you wanted to get nutty I suppose you could drill some screws right through to make a lower spot for the grate.

The larger pbx has two different levels for the grate….

I was thinking about tying wire from the rebar holes to the grate, but might be able to use the hooks on the rebar holes. Been making hams on this thing for years and it's always been close, but never too tall :pass:
