I couldn’t talk him outta any damn thing but this kid couple blocks over had this cool ass dirt track built in his tiny ass backyard! This was a neighborhood backyard not out in the country so it had to have taken bunch of work and planning to get it so dope…..

Point to whole story tho was this kid was only like 12 or 13 when i met him but he was already sponsored by elf bikes and a bunch of other parts companies! Was always jealous of his bikes cuz woulda cost multiple thousands to piece these things together and this was in mid 90’s!

I tend to have trouble keeping the soil just right if i direct plant! Especially going into 10gal pots! Seems putting the seed into a lil jiffy puck on a heat mat helps to increase the odds for lil ones!

You will get a better germination rate with an inert starting cube like Rapid Rooter, Root Riot or rock wool when you use them correctly. Jiffy pellets are peat and the PH is too low.

I always wonder if it's seeds shipped during the heat of the summer that messes with germination rates

It would have to get up to 160°F before the seeds would be effected, so I doubt it. the thing that will ruin seeds is moisture.

We shall see if the website is indeed accurate but says Ace hardware by me has the 50pk rapid rooters in stock so fingers crossed! If not i will order from amazon whichever of those will arrive quickest for best deal!

I like rapid rooters you can hydrate them then squeeze out any extra water before adding your seed.
