I am thinking soil in my pots may not have been warm enough! Also possible the blumats may have the soil bit too damp! Gonna turn them off tonight and i will wait til couple weeks old to kick em on and will just hand water til then!
I cooked the first 2, the third started slow and I dug it out. I put it back in but it didn't shed its shell fast enough and died out. Gggggrrrrrrr. This last one of the pack. I scuffed up in some sand paper and soaked it. Fingers crossed but I'm about ready to move on.

I tend to have trouble keeping the soil just right if i direct plant! Especially going into 10gal pots! Seems putting the seed into a lil jiffy puck on a heat mat helps to increase the odds for lil ones!

had issues lately as well. Have an AC Infinity heat mat, but with no temp control. Think it's too hot. Worked fine for two years of doing the same thing, but had issues the last two times
I usually have issues this time if year. Seams the seeds know it's winter and struggle to get going. This is always the hardest part of the process for me.
