Hey @JP1 ....should keep the gourmet edible mushroom stuff in the same thread as the non gourmet edible mushroom stuff or split into a different thread. Planning on trying different substrate for the shiitake, like rolled cardboard and hardwood sawdust to make a tabletop stump and whatnot....not sure if it goes inline with what it was started as.

Up to you. Your thread. I like watching it all but would maybe be easier for people just interested in medical mushrooms to follow later if they were in they're own thread

Lmfao 2010??? U are only like 10yrs younger then me I thought but I started driving in 1997!

I didn't start driving legally till I was 18, my mom didnt want to help me get it sooner so i had to wait. I learned when I was way younger but never really payed attention to gas prices back then. I got my license in senior year (2010). Got my first car when I was 21 after saving up. Had a little 1999 toyota corolla. I miss that thing.

Hey guys, I'm thinking about going up to Michigan next week to buy some photo clones. A place has them for $20 a piece.

Questions...

How long can I keep a clone as a mother plant? Like, if I bought a clone, and then kept it in veg and then every now and then took a cutting to clone out to actually flower, how long can I keep the original going for? Can I keep it small if I keep trimming it back?

Or should I veg out the clone I buy and take a cutting to use for the next go around?

Is there anything else important I should know

Take a cutting, flower the one you bought, and keep the cutting as a mother as long as you like the smoke

If u heard about it on reddit is one reason to avoid them! And no storefront sounds even more suspect as u have 0 clue what their nursery looks like! I would shop elsewhere bro! Just my opinion
