U can keep em for years if u so choose but i would def grow it out and take cutting from that cuz u don’t know if its gonna be one u wanna keep if u haven’t grown it out yet! Also be very very careful as budget priced clones its very common for them to have viral issues or weird pathogens or harboring weird pests u don’t wanna bring home!

The place I am looking at for the clones also does viral testing and stuff, so I think it would be safe.

No, my dad is in a rehab area of the hospital here and isn't doing so well . He has a condition called Lewy body Dementia and is not functioning cognitively or physically. A not so fun condition. I'm at the hospital with him every day for the majority of the day for the last two weeks.

@Fermented_Fruitz, I have a masters in psych, but do not work in the field. I'm semi retired and make mid century style furniture.

Hey @Mañ'O'Green does your post infusion decarb method cut down on the smell?

almost no smell as the extraction into the oil is in a MBMII, so you can smell the flower as you break it up to go into the machine. Then when you decarb the oil in a hot oil bath the jar is closed, I do burp it a couple of times but the smell has never even occurred to me so it must be really minor.

Hey guys, I'm thinking about going up to Michigan next week to buy some photo clones. A place has them for $20 a piece.

Questions...

How long can I keep a clone as a mother plant? Like, if I bought a clone, and then kept it in veg and then every now and then took a cutting to clone out to actually flower, how long can I keep the original going for? Can I keep it small if I keep trimming it back?

Or should I veg out the clone I buy and take a cutting to use for the next go around?

Is there anything else important I should know?

Be sure they are certified as hop latent viroid free!

Not yet, moneys been too tight. Im trying to work it in but there hasnt been enough overtime available to swing it. Was just gonna pay out my vacation to do it but at my job you cant pay anything out till you accumulate 3 weeks, which takes 7 years

Probably the reason then. They'll be back to normal in a couple weeks but the craziness will get worse if you don't get it taken care of
