Since I was a kid I put the big side on the bottom so I like to argue about it that’s all I could never understand why people put the smaller piece on the bottom. Makes no sense

Im trying to figure out how it being reversed makes sense? I cant wrap my head around that idea, but Im trying real hard, and its starting to hurt and my ears are smoking.
