They never gave me a reason but this was over 3yrs ago! Mine only had couple along the seam where that inside pocket was sewn on! My tents are in my bedroom and never had any herm issues!

They're built heavy and I like their height. But with the amount of leaks mine has, and considering the explanation given. I'll pass on another until they've resolved it in their manufacturing process.
