Ours was just as ancient and they didn't take care of it.....and everytime I asked was turned down due to cost.....since I was in charge and owner never tallied but once per quarter I dropped the labor price a dollar an hour and charged 2.50 an hour tool rental....cussed me up one side and down the other till I showed him I was making more money, and of course he loved that till I explained it was done to make sure there was money to do maintenance and repair on the Rigid before it hurt someone....big NO on that...4 months later one of the guys ripped his leg open when the leg finally gave out...he sued, owner thought he was golden cause of his pricey lawyer till I hit the stand with all my copies of the billing and the memo to the comptroller explaining why I was changing the price structure with his OK'ing signature....If I remember correctly the guy got about 300k and 50% disability due to the nerve damage it caused...bad thing is the first 2 months of that billing would have paid for the repairs it needed then the rest would have been gravy....
Edit: in case anyone is wondering..
