This is the one I have. But if you cook for more than two or three you may want to look at a larger model. It works great for Ms. MOG and I.

Not really…..wells aren’t guaranteed to be wet, I doubt I have to tell you about why rain water is out…..you’d have to haul or have it delivered. You MIGHT have luck with a well, but it’s a 20k gamble.

Thanks for the link! Those look very interesting. Much more affordable than the machines. I have an insta pot that was a Christmas gift, but never used it. Didn't know it till tonight, but it has a sous vide feature on it. Am gonna give that a try, but it supposedly has some temp variations. So, now looking for a back up plan if that turns out crappy.

Without water the land is not habitable and it's best use is those beautiful pictures and the flora and fauna. Just leave it to them.
