It has electricity already. I do have a heater I can use but I am apprehensive about leaving it running all night out there. I may run it during the day and let it heat up in there though. It does seem that the gh stays a little bit warmer inside than out. Maybe a few degrees or so. I would take her down but she has like a week (plus or minus a few days) from being done.
Our pump/utility room for our community water system has no heat, but we turn on a oil filled radiator heater 24-7 with no issues, just dont turn a heater on high, you only need to keep your gh in the mid 40's.

It would take longer for a wet substrate to freeze than a damp one, due to the extra mass taking longer to get cold enough to freeze. Run your heater until bedtime and then get up and turn it back on in the morning for a bit, that should help greatly, even wrapping a blanket around the pot/container would help retain heat.
