your winters must be long if it is snowing already...but i bet you get real snow unlike here
Wi used to be a state where it snowed heavily almost every year, since the early 2000s its super hit and miss. The last blizzard we had was in 2001 I believe, we had about 3 ft in southern Wi. Now we are lucky if it snows sometimes

Thats freaky, the changes are becoming ever so rapid - sad really

The 3bog is still a finicky girl and loves her parasol, LOL, but she is also the tallest and first to really start flowering! The double grape is also doing great after such a dismal disjointed start! I have had to raise the lights 6" between yesterday and today to match growth!!!!

Here is the deal with mixing nutrients in a holding tank or reservoir. A stir pump or aeration is a must for anything mixed with all of the parts otherwise elements will begin to precipitate sometimes forming chelates that bind stuff together making elements unavailable to the plant. It is exceedingly important that you mix everything in the proper order with time to dissolve fully between additions. So far I am only talking about the salt based elements. The minute you add anything organic the whole process changes.

Sugar (carbohydrates) and kelp etc. added to the above are going to form primordial soup and can form a biofilm in short order. This biofilm seals the top of the reservoir/tank and an anaerobic fermentation will begin. A stir pump has not helped me slow this fermentation down but an air stone gives about a day longer before the biofilm is a problem. This biofilm will clog drip emitters and lines.

Kelp and other organics generally do not need to be feed with every feeding so I wait until the day before a res change to add it to the grow. You can do the same with a tank just add it the last day

Ok so I think I have a grasp on this of now…so when you add the kelp before rez change you wait till rez is near empty before filling again without the kelp
Edit another: can you add ph up after using ph down? Not the same day but days later when ph drops
I really need to take a break as well, it has been years since I went without. :baked:

But I am afraid I will forget how to breath if I don't cough and hack up a lung on schedule! LOL:rofl:

:headbang: :yeahthat: Me too not sure if I could do it some days are just a struggle to get through work without :face:

I asked this yesterday in chat and nobody answered. So... I'll ask here. The temps are supposed to be at or below freezing tomorrow and Wednesday morning. I can't bring it inside cus of the loud smell so I am leaving it in the greenhouse. Do I water the plants as normal or should I wait until after the freeze passes?
