If I mix a full gallon of water with a full dose of fertilizer how long does it stay good for, I just opened a jug I mixed 4 days ago and it smells like tangy butthole...you guys think its ok to use....I couldnt figure out another way to describe it

I may have over exaggerated a bit, but it definitely smells sour. Tossed it....but only after I used a tiny bit lol. Hopefully it doesnt hurt, it was mixed with a half gal of stuff that was still good

What nutrients u using? Majority of stuff whether ph balanced or not will not hold ph if it sits!

I've been mixing 15 gallons at a time, a 4 or 5 day supply. By the time I get to the bottom of the barrel it's pretty dark, but it doesn't smell. I guess that's why they say don't mix more than a week supply. This photo is the 10th and the 15th gallon (MC 1-part 1000pm):

It may have been the one I mixed a week ago at the start of flower, and im guessing its the organic stuff that started stinking up the bottle. Probably the kelp and the big bloom. Can't imagine any organic fertilizer lasts too long after its mixed with a large amount of water. Recipe for mold and fermentation, and not the good kind lmao

I checked it before I watered. It was slightly acidic, tested at 6.1. Im using line, all except for wholly mackerel amd the water soluble dry ferts. Trying to follow the bloom feeding cycle as best as possible

Try keeping it uncovered to keep the anaerobic bacteria from taking over. They can smell like sheeeee-it.

Organic stuff once mixed must be used right away! Lots of that stuff the reason it’s sold in separate bottles is it can go bad over time once mixed together!
