Pre melting a smidge of Night Owl Seeds Star Spangled 3 rosin. Remove the mouthpiecece, and the unit auto adjust to 190° F for the pre melt. Then when it's replaced it jumps to your temp setting. The Cricket is just smart and extremely well thought out ..And it rips!

I may need to update that info. I think Soluble Gypsum is a great source for Ca that is being underutilized. It remains available all the way up to 550 PPM before it will fall out of solution. You better never use that much
