Going to sprinkle it with some kosher salt and pepper, rub it down with this:

Going to chop some parsley, rosemary, and thyme and blend them all together and rub the prime rib with it. Preheat your oven to 500° , pull your meat out of fridge let sit out for 6 hrs(yes 6 hrs) place in oven(for every lb cook for 5 mins,eg. If the prime rib is 9 lbs x 5=22.5 this is how long you cook it.) Leave it alone!! Turn off oven. Do not open oven door. Let sit for 2.5 hrs in oven. Take out let rest, take dripping and put in pot add a tbsp of butter to dripping, reduce by half, this is a sauce for the rib!
