Howdy everyone! :pass:

I got me a 14 lb turkey to cook yesterday and put it in the fridge to thaw. I was going to add a rub on it Friday and cook it Saturday. Now I realize I'm behind a day and I better try and thaw it out in the sink overnight if it's going to see that rub tomorrow .... and be ready to cook on Christmas day. Things have been so crazy lately, I guess I done got my days mixed up. I thought I was going back in the hospital last Thursday for pneumonia, (after my 02 levels dropped in the 70s the night before). After x-rays, the er nurse even said it looked like I had "covid lungs." I then learnt there weren't any extra rooms and after my covid test came back negative, they sent me home. At least I got a new O2 machine now, (after my old one tore up), even tho I got to pay for it myself. At least I got peace of mind and can rest at night! Sending love and good vibes to all! :karmacloud: :smokeout::pass::smokeout:

@Need4Weed :bighug:

Dude what the hell! Am I going to have to come up and slap ya round to keep you healthy? It's easy to lose track of the days in these times. I was thinking today was Saturday until I went to the store and realized that it's only Wednesday and I was supposed to go to work today. Shhhh don't tell anyone. :pighug:
Lol, you know me, I won't say a thing! .... as long as you send me a few seeds ever now and then, (and maybe a couple nude pics of the wife! ) :crying:
@Need4Weed ...the way the World has gone this year...you are Lucky to remember what Month it is..never mind what day it is...:pighug:

02 at 70%....JHC....:yoinks:....
It's been a year for the record books for sure Aunty @Mossy :pighug: I recently shared this on FB, after my brother shared it on his.

Was cleaning my house - I stopped in my tracks and sat down and just went down memory lane...All I can say is it wasn't pretty. I think I cried for over an hour with memories of what this time used to be for me and how it was filled with such love and anticipation - and now it brings back memories of the reality of emptiness and sadness.
So I would like to remind you that there are people for whatever reason are not looking forward to Christmas. Some people are not surrounded by large wonderful families.
Some of us have problems during the holidays and are overcome with great sadness when we remember the loved ones who are not with us any longer.
For many it is their first Christmas without a particular loved one and many others lost loved ones at Christmas. And, many people have no one to spend these times with and are besieged by loneliness. We all need caring, loving thoughts right now.
If I don't see your name, I'll understand. I ask my friends wherever you might be, to kindly post this status for one hour to give a moment of support to all those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, worries of any kind and just need to know that someone cares.
Do it for all of us, for nobody is immune. I hope to see this on the walls of all my friends just for moral support. I did it for a friend and you can too! (Hold your finger over this to copy & paste this one, NO sharing!!!

When I shared I knew no one in my family would believe I wrote it, (Was cleaning my house). More like, "I was paying someone to clean my house" :crying:

I'm feeling much better now that I've got a hanging basket to place on my parents grave. I usually replace them a couple times a year, but the little flower shop I used has been closed since covid. I was feeling pretty low on Thanksgiving after going by there and not having fresh new flowers. Mother's birthday is 10-4 and in a normal year it always gets done before then. So today I went and got a Christmas theme basket and I know she would have loved it being it's her favorite time of year. GiftsHappy Christmas

So I told the misses that I needed to take some nude photos of her and she asked why. I explained that I needed to send them to you. Her response was, "What did Need4weed ever do to you". :crying: :crying: :crying:

This used to a fun time of year for the misses and I. Now, not so much. We lost our daughter (only child) 12/15/2007. Our empty nest was immediately filled with five granddaughters, so no time to grieve. I think having the girls relying on us got us through the mind numbing shock of the first holiday season. Since then I rely heavily on my two favorite distractions, humor and weed. Growing weed is kind of like therapy and smoking it always improves my mood :baked: I'm always looking for things that make me laugh or smile. I see each of those as a positive spike. Get enough of those positive spikes and scales tip to the positive and you have made it through another day. I share the humor with others. Knowing how it helps me get though the day, if it helps others get through their day my efforts are not in vain.

OMG I've gotten too stoned and forgotten where I was going with this ramble. Stay positive was the general heading. Don't be alone - easier said then done these days. But the brothers and sisters at AFN are here!:bighug::pighug::bighug:
