Thanks @RivetGrrl I needed that!
So I told the misses that I needed to take some nude photos of her and she asked why. I explained that I needed to send them to you. Her response was, "What did Need4weed ever do to you". :crying: :crying: :crying:

This used to a fun time of year for the misses and I. Now, not so much. We lost our daughter (only child) 12/15/2007. Our empty nest was immediately filled with five granddaughters, so no time to grieve. I think having the girls relying on us got us through the mind numbing shock of the first holiday season. Since then I rely heavily on my two favorite distractions, humor and weed. Growing weed is kind of like therapy and smoking it always improves my mood :baked: I'm always looking for things that make me laugh or smile. I see each of those as a positive spike. Get enough of those positive spikes and scales tip to the positive and you have made it through another day. I share the humor with others. Knowing how it helps me get though the day, if it helps others get through their day my efforts are not in vain.

OMG I've gotten too stoned and forgotten where I was going with this ramble. Stay positive was the general heading. Don't be alone - easier said then done these days. But the brothers and sisters at AFN are here!:bighug::pighug::bighug:
I hear ya brother and I can/t imagine what it's like to lose a child, (and during the holidays). :bighug:

I try to stay positive and upbeat as I don't want to do anything that will take away from my boy enjoying Christmas. I think I've spent more money on the little shit this year than my father did the whole time I was growing up. :hump: I've been trying new dessert recipes to see if I can get close to something fruity mom use to make with whipped, creamed cheese and Jello. Anyways, I've also got some rub made up for the bird. Btw, Thanks Aunty @Mossy for the Turkey Thawing link! Me bird is now thawed!:bighug:

We had some amazing holidays as a child huge family get togethers and Christmas dinner was Perfection done by my grandmother an great aunts. We do our best and as the years go by I think my Grandmother would be proud. I have 7 grand children now at 57 today is my Birthday the day before Christmas Im just digging it and boy do I stay busy but I would not change it for anything. And at a age where age means nothing performance and gains mean everything.

You are a stand up amazing human who is raising five beautiful Grand daughters. Humor is such a huge help and that was very funny that line. What did need4weedever do to you is classic brother very funny. Merry Christmas to you and your full house.

Thank you for the kind words FN. We were legal guardians for the two eldest as they were considered orphans. The three little ones stayed with us for two years while their father fulfilled his obligations overseas, found a new job, a new wife, and a house. Now they live with him. #1 is off on her own with her own little boy. #2 still lives here attending (virtually ATM) a local university. So only three of us now.

Credit the line to my misses. She inherited her mums dry straight faced British sense of humor. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Stay healthy and warm!

Well Happy Birthday to ya! Brother in law's birthday was on Christmas eve too. Did you get ripped off as a kid like he did? His birthday got lumped into Christmas by most of the relatives.
