@Mizzo81 is murdering the grow. Thank you for purchase and faith in us!

Hi Aleks
I would like to ask a question of you.
Is Growpito, the same as Mapito?
Or to put it another way, is Growpito a re-branding of Mapito?
I have seen some fantastic grows with Mapito, it looked to be a great medium to grow in!

Mapito is NOT Growpito. Mapito has coco coir in it. Gross.

Mapito has binders and surfactants in it. It's just insulation. Gross.

Mapito threw coco coir in so there would be SOME water holding capabilities. The stonewool in Mapito is just hacked up insulation. Growpito has no binders or surfactants. It's just natural. The Mapito has no hollow tubes within the fibers because their fibers are filled up with binders. The surfactants in Mapito are water soluble and wash away in about 9 months. Then it is just trash. The only water holding capacity then is the coco coir, which has limited capabilities anyway because it's not actually "holding" water. We specifically make this stone wool for Sim Mix.
Thank you for the reply and for stating the differences, I guess I got confused by the ****Pito part of the name.
I am a coco grower and I am intrigued by you saying coco does not hold water!:confused1:
If this is the case, what does coco do, if it doesn't hold water?
I am always open to new information in order to make me a better grower!:hump:
I hope i'm not asking too many questions but I like to geek out on stuff like this!:woohoo1:
Thanks for being with us here at AFN and sharing your knowledge with us.:d5:
