@Heart of flowers ...if Sati gets you Flying.....surely a good Indica would be your Come Down Bud.........?..... :headbang:

Opposite ends of the scale.......:pass:...strong Sati can Cancel my Indica pain-med levels...so possible counter-active actions....

Worth a Try..........

Yeah, I spent most of my 20s undiagnosed and unmedicated(well self medicating:baked:). Those were some wild years, but it just kept getting more severe as time passed until I had to do something about it. I've had a few different combinations of medicine since then, it really is a crap shoot with what works with different people.

I was unhappy with my last combo of meds, I felt dead inside, stopped going to the doctor, went off them on my own for a few months and had a "wonderful" time. Drove my wife crazy lol. Then had a short trip to the loonie bin and new combo that seems to be working for now.

I love to share about mental health. I've had a bit of journey.

Thank you for sharing grow-brother, i appreciate it a lot 🧡

I recognize your scenario to the fullest. I had my trips - ups and downs and we both know it’s not been an easy path. Somewhere inside me I wish to make the life easier for others so that they can feel happier and get help faster, as the system is not updated IMO.

They, (the government) needs some help from the patients themself, kind of side-kicks to catch up, but I’m not sure that it would work in the reality, as it’s a mass of people that needs to be “upgraded”.

Some countries are decades before others technology and some when it comes to medicines but it’s not sure if they are up to date with what should be done.
I believe it’s a total mess as there is so much information that they don’t know which string to pull to get it right.

I know that growing weed helps a lot, it’s green and calming so it could probably be other herbs or food to grow to give humans inner peace - but that is just one way.

If it’s not private, and if you don’t mind - what meds are you prescribed that works for you?

🙏

Yes, it’s totally worth a try.
But what indica do you suggest?
It has to medical and calming, no buzz at all and fairly mild. I still want the day to roll on and be able to exercise and doing the daily tasks. I also require that it puts a smile on my face 🌱

Do you think the GDP could be something for me?

Food for thought:

The idea that indica is a "couch lock" weed and sativa "makes you clean the house" is starting to fade out in the cannabis industry.

Some sativa will simply put your dick in the dirt, and some indica will make you think the hood from the hooded sweatshirt you're wearing is an attacker following you home.

A more fine tuned distinction of the effect shaping is the makeup of the cannabinoids and terpenes.

For example, the terpene myrcene is the most common and abundant terpene found in cannabis, period. It's also very sedative. There was a company called Cresco Labs that tried to say that a better distinction between sativa and indica in terms of effects is whether there is a high or low presence of myrcene, which would (based on it's properties) quite likely shape how heavy or light the "stone" is.

You might need psilocybin mushrooms for that tall order.

I was supposed to bring it in at the end of the day anyway for maintenance cuz we're going to be using it a lot for a dig, prolly gonna bring in the excavator for a job, but imma miss a day cuz of this:doh: nothin I can do about it i spose .

Currently on Lamictal 400mg and Abilify 15mg daily. I still experience mild manic and depressive episodes, but it's more functional. Therapy has helped more with my depression. Learning to live in the moment not the past type shit.

Here in the south, US, the mental health system is awful. I do not recommend the loonie bin here to anyone lol. Most unsafe and uncomfortable experience of my life.

Growing weed is the only hobby I keep returning to. It's definitely calming to just sit and smell my plants.

On the topic of mushrooms, I also went on a bit of journey tripping every 2 weeks for like half a year, and microdosing for a couple months. I didn't get much out of microdosing but I worked through some shit on those normal trips.

Theres some East African "land races" that really have some fantastic anti anxiety anti depressant properties. Really feels close to shrooms. Physical relaxation i can't do on my own sometimes. Malawi, Amhara, ugandan

Magic strains Luv Pink was also a great one. Made my chest smile every time I took a hit
