Sort of like a Jumpstart to flower instead of gradually decreasing the DLI equalling quicker flowering response.
I wonder if a couple of days darkness or a very low DLI, like 12 would push it into flower faster.
 
Question on DLI and Photone app
For photoperiod plants the below chart shows that DLI is ramped up until the end of veg phase. Then, it drops down for first week of flower and ramps up again as flower weeks progress.
I don't understand why the drop in DLI the first weeks of flower. To me this doesn't mimic the outdoor growing environment and just doesn'tmake sense.

The drop in DLI is simply because of running the lights 6 hours less. You can't immediately turn up the lights on your girls to give them the same DLI. So you have to slowly bring up the ppfd.
